It was around eight the night.
Raven and Jackson was asleep and Maya and Josh were in the living room.
Neither knew what to do but did decide on trying.
"So they can't take Raven anymore. What is next?" Josh asked.
"What if we sort out our problems? Josh we can't fight like this. We have two little children to think about and if we're..."
Maya didn't get to finish her sentence.
There was a knock on the door and Josh got it.
"Hey Riles. Come in," Josh said.
"Thanks. What about a little outing? Go put on your best outfit then we can paint the town," Riley said.
Maya wanted to avoid that.
Plus how could she just go?
She couldn't.
"Riley I have a baby to take care of. Maybe another night when I can find a babysitter," Maya said.
"We haven't been out in months. Not before Jax. Come on."
"No I'm really sorry. I'm going to check on Jackson," Maya said.
"She's under a lot of pressure right now Riles. Maybe you should come back another time. Text me a time and date when you have set it and we'll try to make it. But for now we have to take care of both Jackson and Raven. Sorry," Josh said and Riley was off.
