Two Mates, One Fate.

Chapter 10.

Waking up the next morning I lay there for awhile debating if I should get up or not.

I finally pushed myself up into a sitting position looking over at my locked floor where there was a letter that was pushed under my door, forcing myself up and out of the bed I went and grabbed the letter quickly getting back into bed.

There was no address just 'To My Darling Granddaughter.' written on the front meaning my grandfather had it delivered by hand. I hoped it had all the answers that I so wanted to know, I started to open it laying it out for me to read.

'I always said you were special, first, let's start with where this all started.

Way, before I was born there, was meant to be a curse put on this family, we didn't always use to be alpha's way back in the family line there was a rogue and a bad one at that, he would go around impregnating everyone and one day he impregnated the wrong girl. A witch yes they exist and back in the day they were everywhere before they started to get killed and so he got her pregnant ruining her life, the pup killed her from the inside.

Her coven wanted revenge and put a curse on him that any daughter of his would have the curse would be stuck with two mates a good and a bad mate, light and dark, evil and saint.

We're not sure what went wrong but the curse carried on he didn't have any daughters just sons and they had sons and one of them started a pack became alpha and that's how our family line carried on, until one day a daughter was born and she was the first one to have the curse. Marilyn was her name.'

I freeze my dream... I dreamt of her and her story.

'Long story short things didn't work out very well for her, her father was a strict man and thought Porter was the better man for her someone who had been in the pack longer and was stronger, he thought Porter would be able to protect her. Porter ended up marrying Marilyn against her will and then a week after the wedding Marilyn and Bradford agreed to run away together Porter got the word and killed Bradford, Marilyn was so distraught she ended up killing herself.

There were three other girls and I will tell you more about them when I see you otherwise this letter will take forever to write.

There is one more thing you might not have noticed it yet but with this curse comes a light, you will start to notice a change you're going to get stronger and faster than other wolves and you will even heal faster. It's nothing to worry about just keep it to yourself for now. 

I am not trying to scare you but I know how much of a stubborn child you was and still are so take the time to get to know your mates and know there is no hurry to choose one.

But keep all this to yourself as your life is in danger by anyone who already knows about the curse and its secrets.

I let out a massive breath feeling slightly dizzy because I had been holding it.

Even though questions were answered there was still so much more left including all the new ones.
