Opening the dishwasher, the android unloaded the dirty dishes into it, closing it shut right after placing in the last one.
He tried turning it on, but nothing happened.
He repeated it a few times. Nothing happened.
A component of the dishwasher is broken. The text appeared in a small corner of his vision. He quickly made an online purchase for a new component to get it fixed later.
In the meantime, that meant doing the dishes the old fashioned way.
The faint sound of porcelain under running water filled the kitchen, as the tanned android scrubbed each plate with a damp sponge.
"Ugh, goddamnit!" Junko cursed loudly at the TV. "They lost again?! What a bunch of assholes.." She was probably watching a sports game of some sort, Hajime deduced from what she was babbling about.
Junko then tapped her foot, restless.
"Hey tin can!" She yelled. Hajime turned his attention away from the dirty dishes at hand.
"Get me a beer!"
"Right away, Junko," Hajime replied in a blank tone, wiping his wet hands with a towel. He pulled the fridge door open and reached in for a cold bottle of the alcoholic beverage.
He walked out of the kitchen and placed the bottle on the small coffee table, with many other empty bottles piling up near the sofa. Junko snatched the beer bottle and popped the cap open, taking a large swig from it as she rested both her legs on the table.
Hajime went back inside the kitchen to continue washing the dirty dishes.
A good ten minutes had passed, and he had already finished after placing the last plate on the dish rack for it to dry. He wiped his hands with a towel and turned the tap off.
Hajime then grabbed the empty pizza boxes on the counter to throw them away.
The android scanned the small kitchen, looking for a trash can. He spotted one hidden in a small corner right next to the fridge, overflowing with trash and other stuff.
Take out the trash.
Another task appeared in text in the corner of his vision, replacing the previous task he just completed.
He stomped on the trash inside the bin down with his foot for more space to put in the pizza boxes and repeated the same thing to make tying the trash bag easier.
There's more trash in the living room.
Taking another trash bag from one of the drawers, he came out of the kitchen and collected all the garbage and trash in the living room. He carefully took away the empty beer bottles near the intoxicated woman as to not disturb her, placing them inside the black plastic bag.
More pizza boxes laid across the room, making the android wonder how many pizzas had the couple ordered for the past two weeks during his repairs, though he quickly pushed the thought aside and went back to collecting the trash.
After tying up the second bag, he took the other one from the kitchen and went outside.
He walked towards the larger trash cans outside the house and put the two bags inside before closing the lid.
"Mr. Android!" Two kids ran towards Hajime, one of them being a boy with purple hair wearing a checkered scarf. He seemed to be in his teens, the android thought.
"Kokichi, no-" another boy wearing a cap said timidly, tugging his friend's scarf as to tell him that they should leave.
A wide grin stretched across Kokichi's face.
"Do androids have dicks?"
"Kokichi!" The boy in the cap snapped at him, flustered. Kokichi could only laugh.
"Man up, Shuichi-chan," Kokichi nudged his friend playfully with his elbow as the latter tried dragging him away. "Ignore my friend, sir," Shuichi turned back and apologized to the android, tipping his cap awkwardly. "He's really weird..." he added before earning himself a smack on the head from the purple head.
"That's a lie!" Kokichi yelled in defense.
"It's not!"
The AX400 couldn't help but smile at the two children in amusement, whether it was part of his program or something more.
Hajime went back inside the house to carry on with his chores.
He turned on the automated vacuum cleaner and cleaned the floor of its dust and debris.
He arranged random books splayed all over the ground back on a bookshelf, as well as some cracked photo frames of Nagito and Junko being happy together.
He got Junko another bottle of beer, along with dealing with her excessive slurring and cursing at the poor television, which would've cried and shocked itself if it was alive and had feelings. Hajime had to run a self diagnostic on himself while he was at it after having that thought to make sure his systems were running alright.
He grabbed a laundry basket and went out to the backyard of the house. He started collecting the clothes that had been hanging on the drying rack for far too long. Wrinkles and creases were prominent on the fabric, and Hajime could pick up a faint smell of rainwater from precisely 6 days ago with his olfactory sensors.
Hajime brought inside the laundry basket, bringing it into a very small laundry room. An ironing board barely squeezed inside the tiny space, and the washing machine was crammed in along with a bunch of other cleaning equipment.
He unloaded the contents of the basket into the machine, reaching for the powder detergent from the shelf above him. A clear packet with red rocks caught his attention. He fished out the strange item and took a closer look at it.
Red ice.
Causes excitement in the nervous system and in turn, damages it.
Very nicotinic, keep out of reach from children."You know," a hand wrapped around the android's neck and shoved him violent against the wall, causing his LED to spin dangerous red. A grunt left his throat, though he couldn't feel any pain. How Junko was able to lift an android taller than her by the throat was baffling, but then again, no one should underestimate Junko Enoshima.
"You shouldn't mess around with my stuff. It makes me nervous," Junko growled in an irritated tone, keeping her grip firm on the android.
"That is, unless you wanna piss me off."
Hajime was silent.
"You wanna piss me off?"
"No, Junko," Hajime responded in a calm manner, despite the color of his LED saying otherwise.
The young woman loosened her grip on the AX400 and snatched the packet of red ice from his hands. "Stay away from my stuff. Got it, tin can?" She questioned, glaring daggers at him as if he were trash.
"Yes, Junko," he was finally released from her grip. Junko stomped out of the laundry room, possibly going back to the living room and doing who know what with the red ice.
