Ever since Izuru threatened to fire Chihiro for leaking out their conversation to the public, the gingerhead's been more confident and snarky with his remarks at the superior man. Not that it bothered the CEO anyway— he already predicted Chihiro to be acting like this during their little conversation earlier.

From Chihiro blatantly insisting him to attend those boring meetings for the day, to persuading the man into meeting his engineers to see if their innovated and improved versions of the AX400 android model was marketable enough to be sold.

Most people would think of Chihiro's attitude like this as annoying, but it didn't faze Izuru in the slightest. Contrary, he even thought it kinda spiced things up in this already boring life of his.

Right now, he was looking at stuff on his computer. One would assume he was watching cat videos or meme compilations, as a normal stressed CEO would do after a long and tedious meeting. While the thing about watching something after his meetings weren't wrong, he definitely wasn't watching cat videos.

No, he was watching footage from the eyes of a certain deviant android through a hidden camera he had installed in the android when it was first created.

That was how Izuru knew it was in Fukushima, and was planning to move to Hokkaido with that human. How else did he even know anyway? Izuru wasn't a superhuman after all, despite his superhuman ability to be able to predict anything precisely.

Something unexpected, however, surprised the CEO.

"Hey Nagito, what if we stayed in Fukushima instead?"

Izuru perked up at his desk, his bored half-lidded eyes suddenly widened in surprise at what he just heard. "Huh? It's choosing to stay in Fukushima instead?" He mumbled and leaned in closer to the monitor to replay what he just heard and saw.

A smirk tugged at his lips. "Hmm, interesting."

The man quickly turned off the window he was seeing on his computer when he heard a knock at the glass door before a familiar gingerhead came in through the doors to his office, a tall stack of papers in his hands.

"Geez, what's with all this paperwork?" He mumbled, carrying the papers into the office. "Hey uhm, Mr. Kamukura, this is the remaining paperwork for the day," said Chihiro as he plopped the stack down onto the CEO'S desk with a large thud.

"I've already done my part on this, so I'm not doing the rest of these for you," he deadpanned.

"I knew you would say that," Izuru sighed in his usual stoic tone. "You can go now, Fujisaki." It was the hour where most people were already leaving work and going home. Chihiro was no exception, especially when he planned on visiting his mother at the hospital later this evening, and he was tired as hell.

However, he could sense something odd with the man before him. Whether it was his sixth sense or something else, the gingerhead knew something was off.

"Uhm, Mr. Kamukura, may I ask you something?" Chihiro asked. "Ask away, Fujisaki," Izuru didn't take his eyes off his computer monitor. "As long as it's not related to that deviant case from earlier, it's fine."

Chihiro had to fight the urge to roll his eyes. Geez, he's still not over that matter? Fine then. Once an android revolution breaks out with that same deviant as the leader, he'll know who to blame when it happens.

"What were you watching on your computer?"

The question completely threw Izuru off guard, and nearly choked on the water he was drinking from his flask. This reaction surprised the secretary, he had never seen Izuru so shocked before.

"W-Woah! Mr. Kamukura, are you okay?!" Chihiro rushed to the CEO's side to make sure he was okay. Izuru held up a hand to stop him, signaling that he was perfectly fine. Once he had finally calmed down from that, he turned to the gingerhead with a dead look.

"Wh-Why would you wanna know what I'm watching?" Izuru defended himself. "Whatever I'm watching is none of your concerns, Fujisaki."

"Wait a minute..." An idea popped into his mind, and Chihiro quickly covered his mouth in shock. "A-Are you secretly watching porn or something?" He muttered in a low voice.

"Fujisaki, please."

"Sir, it's completely fine if you do!" The gingerhead quickly defended himself. "I might sound shameless, but we guys need to find a way to relieve stress, you know? I apologize for my attitude today if that's what's bothering you."

Izuru almost facepalmed. "Fujisaki, I—" He couldn't even find the right words to speak. That's how shocked he was. "Go— Go home, Fujisaki. I need to be alone right now."

"O-Oh, um... Sorry about that, sir," Chihiro said apologetically. "See you tomorrow, Mr. Kamukura." He then began making his way to the glass door and left the office just like that.

Taking in a deep breath— and a few minutes of screaming internally— Izuru finally regained his composure and the familiar blank expression returned to his face. "Hmm, how boring," he mumbled and pushed the stack of papers aside on his large desk.

He clicked open the window that showed what was happening so far in the eyes of the deviant he was spying on.

"It's really staying in Fukushima? Hmm, what an interesting turn of events." Izuru smirked. "That just makes things easier for me. However, this will still be fun to see."

Through the deviant's eyes, he could see bliss and happiness.

Sharing cookies.
Orphaned children laughing.
Snowball fights.
Kissing under the snow.

It's as though Izuru was watching a cheesy romance drama, and he was the one to direct it. While he did possess the capabilities to actually making a drama a reality for the public to watch and enjoy, it was also nice watching it for himself. And himself only.

"Ah, what a nice life you're having." He then directed his attention to a file on his desk. A file with the words "FOR CONFIDENTIAL USE ONLY" stamped on it in red bold letters, of which he picked up and opened it to see its contents.

"As wonderful as it is to see how happy you are right now, it does indeed fascinate me to wonder how will an android respond under something other than happiness." A photo of a pale man was held in place with a paper clip, followed by a bunch of personal information of that person printed out on a yellow paper.

"They say ignorance is bliss, but that won't last long, Hajime." Izuru then took a red marker and uncapped it.

"We'll meet soon, and when the time comes..." A cross was drawn with the red ink onto the person's photo, his smirk growing.

"You will know that all dreams end in tears."
