"...?"

"-use me?"

"Excuse me!" A middle aged man shook the brunet awake, causing him to exit Sleep Mode. Hajime opened his eyes to see the man looking at him rather oddly. "Sir, this is the last stop this bus is making tonight," said the man, gesturing towards the door of the bus. "I believe you and your friend here should get off now."

"O-Of course," Hajime replied, turning to the sleeping albino beside him and nudging him awake. "Nagito, wake up. We have to get off now," he said to the other male. Nagito stirred awake and rubbed his eyes tiredly, slowly getting up from his seat followed by the brunet.

Both of them alighted from the bus before its doors shut behind them and off the automated vehicle went.

"Hajime, what do we do now?" Nagito asked. Hajime fumbled with the dark green jacket he borrowed from the other male as he looked around the area. "Well, we have to find a place to spend the night for now," he said, now facing the albino. "Do you have the money with you?"

Nagito nodded as he fished out a small brown packet from the pocket his grey coat.

Hajime began to walk around the place, in hopes for looking for a place to stay. There's an old abandoned house they could squat in. It was just for one night, and they didn't have to use the limited money they had. Hajime considered it an option, but then he began thinking of its downsides.

That if there wasn't anyone there or if whoever was living there would be friendly enough to let them stay the night. Not to mention, if Nagito mind squatting there was another issue on its own.

He noticed a fence in the corner of his eye, to where he walked over to. Peeking over it, he saw an unused car on the other side. It was cramped but an option nonetheless.

"Hajime, there's a motel over there," Nagito pulled on the android's jacket and pointed to a lit up sign with the name of a motel in it. Ah, how had Hajime not noticed that? Hopefully they wouldn't charge much for a room.

The two males made their way towards the motel, the light pitter patter of rain on their bodies.

"¥4000 for a night," Nagito read the sign on the entrance door to the motel. NO ANDROIDS, a small sticker pasted on the door caught Hajime's attention, which caused him to pull his beanie further down so it would cover his LED ring.

A bell chimed as the door was pushed open and the two males entered the small shack.

An elderly woman was seated at the reception table with an e-magazine in hand, swiping through its pages with classic pop music from the 2010s playing from a speaker in the background.

She must've known there was company, because she set aside the tabloid and looked up to them.

"Good evening, gentlemen. How can I help you?" She greeted with a smile.
