My Twin's Best Friend

Chapter 1

Ashley's POV: (A/N: A few years after the prologue, they're in their senior year now. You may read now, love you!) 

"Ashton, can you please tell Nolan to give my fudging phone back?!" I yelled while chasing his idiotic best friend. We somehow got to the backyard and we were running around the pool. I swear if my phone falls in the pool, I'm killing this asshole.

 "Nolan, leave my sister alone." I heard Ashton yell as he walked out and saw us chasing each other. Nolan stopped and I saw him roll his eyes.

"You're no fun." He said and tossed me my phone, like literally tossed it. My phone almost fell in the freaking pool and I caught it just in time.

"You're a jerk, Nolan." I said and calmed my heart because I literally almost had a heart attack. He laughed and went to help me up, I scowled at him and swatted his hand away. I stood up on my own and walked away from him, I ran up the stairs and into my room slamming the door. 

He's such a jerk, a very hot jerk though. You can't blame me, you can't look at Nolan and say that he's not. He's a total playboy and a total jerk. I don't see the joy in making people suffer. I'll admit that I had a teeny weeny crush on Nolan a few years back, but now that I've grown up quite a bit I've realised what an actual jerk he is, but I still think he's very handsome and pretty hot.

I laid down on my bed and stared at the ceiling looking at my phone to see what that jerk face did to my phone. I opened it and saw that it was in the camera app, ugh. I looked at my camera roll and saw tons of selfies of that ass. I looked at them and to be honest, they're not too bad. I shook the thoughts out of my head when I heard a knock on the door.

"Le Le" I heard his voice say, I turned to him and he popped his head in.

"Can I come in?" He asked, I rolled my eyes but said yes.

"Sure, whatever." I said and fiddled with my phone. 

"Are you upset with me?" He asked, I looked at him and he just sighed and sat on the edge of my bed. 

"I'll take the silence as a yes." He said

"You got that right, genius." I answered sarcastically, he rolled his eyes and pulled me up. I squealed and got on my feet.

"What was that for?" I asked him

"C'mon, let's go out for lunch. Ashton said that he doesn't wanna go out so I'm taking you out instead." He said and lifted me on his shoulder. I groaned and punched him.

"Gosh Le Le, you're so violent." He said and walked out of my room. He brought us downstairs and we passed by Mom and Dad who was on the couch watching TV.

"Hey Ma and Pa, I'm taking Ashley out for lunch." He said, and yes he called My Mom and Dad, Ma and Pa. Nolan has always been another child to them and he spends way too much time here than he does in his own house, mostly because his parents are almost never home and always working. His brother, Dale, and my brother, Nathan, are really close friends and they have been inseparable since the day that they met each other. At the moment, they're at a friends house so they're not here and that's good because when they're together they can get pretty annoying. 

"Alright, have fun you guys." Mom called out, TRAITOR! Nolan walked out the house and the fresh air hit me. 

"Where are we even going, Nolan?" I asked him still hanging upside down. 

"We're going to Burger King, so shush now." He said and placed me inside his car like I weigh nothing at all. I groaned and leaned in the seat and crossed my arms.

"Oh c'mon, don't be like that. I know you love Burger King, Le Le." He said with a smirk forming on his lips, I felt my lips tug into a smile and I just shook my head.

"Just drive, you idiot." I said, he chucked knowing he was right. Darn this egoistical jerk. 

We got to Burger King in less than 10 minutes with his fast driving.

"You could've slowed down a bit." I said and got out of the car.

"Where's the fun in that?" He smirked and grabbed my hand dragging me inside. Once we got inside the scent of food hit me like a rock. 

"You go ahead and buy the food, I'm gonna go get us a table." I told him, he nodded his head and I took off to look for a table. Once I found a table, I pulled out my phone and saw a text message from Matt.

FROM: Matty<3 

TO: Ashley

'I have a surprise for you, Ashton said you weren't home so you have to wait till you get home, hope you like it, miss you!' 

TO: Matty<3 

FROM: Ashley

'As long as it's from you, I'm sure I'll love it. I'll be home after lunch, just went out with Nolan to eat.' 

"Who you texting there?" I heard Nolan's voice ask, I looked up and saw him carrying a tray. He sat down and placed the tray on the table.

"Oh it's just Matt, he says that he has a surprise for me when I get home." I said, he nodded his head and handed me my food. 

"Here you go." He said, I thanked him and ate my food. 

"So first day of Senior year tomorrow, are you excited?" He asked, I groaned and ate a fry.

"Not at all, I don't wanna go back to school. It's just torture." I said, he laughed and shook his head.

"Well speak for yourself, there's gonna be a lot of new girls, and you know what that means." He said, I rolled my eyes and threw a fry at him.

"You're a disgusting human being, Nolan Price." I said

"You wound me, Le Le." He dramatically said and placed his hand on where his heart is supposed to be. 

"Drama queen" I chuckled

"You're just jealous because you can't get on with me." He smirked, my jaw dropped open and I kicked his leg.

"Hey!" He exclaimed

"Jerk face" I said, he stuck his tongue out and I just rolled my eyes once again.

"So mature." I said sarcastically, we continued to eat our food and we went back to the car. 

"Thanks for the food, jerk." I said and closed the door once I was in the car. 

"No prob" He said and started the engine. He drove off and soon enough we were at my house. 

"Are you heading in?" I asked him

"Yeah, but I'm just gonna get some clothes from my house because I ran out of clothes here." He said, I nodded my head and I walked in the house. I went to the kitchen to get some water and I decided to text Matt.

TO: Matty<3 

FROM: Ashley 

'Alright, I'm home. Where's my surprise at?'

I instantly got a reply and I sipped from my water.

FROM: Matty<3 

TO: Ashley

'It's in your room, go now.' 

Sheesh, what's the rush? It's not like it's going anywhere. I placed my glass in the sink and walked out of the kitchen and up the stairs. I opened the door to my room and almost had a heart attack at what I saw on my bed.

What the hell?
