Chapter 38

Nolan's POV:

The girls and I were in Ashley's room and it's been 15 minutes and I'm kinda getting worried. The girls called up Ashton and said that they had a family matter to discuss and they said that it looked pretty serious, I know it's none of my business but I'm really curious. I mean, who knows what they might be talking about, what if they move away? What if Amanda doesn't like me for her daughter? What if Ashley and I have to separate? I can't handle that, there's no way I am losing the love of my life.

"Nolan, would you please calm down? I'm sure everything is fine." Hazel assured and I just looked at her. I've been pacing bacm and forth for the past 15 minutes just worrying about everything. Maybe I'm over reacting a bit, maybe it's nothing.

"You're doing it again." I heard Hazel's voice say again, I shook the thoughts away and sighed.

"I'm just worried about Ashley and Ashton, what if they had to move away? I can't handle that, Ashton's my best friend and Ashley's my girlfriend." I said, they both looked at each other and Paisley gave me a reassuring smile.

"Nolan, you have to stop thinking of negative thoughts. Whatever happens, I'm sure your friendship with Ashton and your relationship with Ashley won't get affected." She said, I sighed and nodded my head running my fingers through my hair.

"Yeah, I guess you're right." As soon as I said that, the door opened and revealed Ashton and Ashley. Ashton had his arm wrapped around Ashley and they both looked like they've been crying. I rushed to Ashley's side and took her in my arms.

"Are you okay? What happened?" I asked her as I lead her to her bed, the girls moved away and gave her space. She sat down and I sat beside her, she placed her head on my shoulder and grabbed my hand and started playing with my fingers. I looked up at Ashton expecting an answer as to what happened.

He took a deep breath and looked at Ashley, "You want me to tell them?" He asked. I looked down at Ashley and she nodded her head, the girls and I then looked at Ashton.

"We saw our parents." He said, what? That's it?

"What do you mean? What's so bad about that?" Hazel asked voicing my thoughts.

"Our real parents" He added

Well shit

I looked back down at Ashley and she was still playing with my fingers. I grabbed her face with my hand and caressed her cheek with my thumb and looked her in the eyes.

"Are you okay, baby?" I asked her, she smiled weakly and nodded her head.

"But how is that possbile? Didn't you say that your real parents died in a car crash?" I heard Paisley ask, I kept rubbing Ashley's cheek and placed a kiss on her forehead. She placed her head back on my shoulder and I whispered in her ear.

"I love you" I saw a small smile appear on her lips and she looked up at me.

"I love you too" She whispered, I lifted my hand that she was playing with and placed her hand on my lips and placed a kiss on it.

"Apparently, they survived and went into recovery and then tried to look for us." Ashton explained, Ashley continued to play with my hands and I sighed.

"What did they want?" I asked, he looked at me and had a confused look.

"Actually....I don't know. They just explained stuff, that was probably the reason, I don't really know. I was too focused on the fact that our real parents are alive and it's all just weird cuz everyone has a twin and all, everything's kinda confusing." He said, I chuckled and nodded my head.

"Well yeah, twins really run in your family that's for sure." I said trying to lighten up the mood.

"Hey, I have an idea." Hazel said, we all looked at her and she just smiled.

"How bout we turn this girl's night into a big sleepover? We can watch movies and even do facemasks with you boys! We can invite Matt!" She exclaimed

Facemasks? Oh God

"That's not a bad idea, and yeah, we can invite Matt. I feel like I haven't hung out with him in forever." Ashley said while sitting up straight and then she looked at me.

"Do you guys mind spending the night with us?" She asked and then looked at Ashton, he and I looked at each other and he shrugged.

"Sure, it sounds fun." He said, Ashley smiled and kissed my cheek.

"This is gonna be so much fun, I'll call Matt." She said and grabbed her phone.

I looked at Ashton and mouthed to him, 'Facemasks?' And he gave me a 'deal with it' look and I just mentally groaned.

*A few minutes later*

On second thought, these facemasks aren't so bad, theu feel so cool on the skin.

"I see you're enjoying your facemask." Matt said with a smug smile and I just narrowed my eyes at him.

He got here about 20 minutes ago and Ashton and I explained everything to him so that Ashley won't have to think about it anymore. Anyways, now we're doing facemasks as Hazel suggested and Ashley just finished putting on mine while Paisley is applying Ashton's and Hazel with Matt. The girls already applied theirs and Ashley looks so cute.

"Did I mention you look cute?" I told her, she giggled and slapped my arm.

"Shut up, you idiot." She said as she fixed her headband that was holding the hair back from her forehead, absolutely adorable.

"What? I'm telling the truth, you're adorable." I said, she smiled and shook her head.

"You're such a sweet talker." She said and I just laughed.

"Can you two stop flirting and help us decide which movie to watcj?" We heard Matt say, we both turned around and they were looking at us.

"Right, sorry" Ashley smiled sheepishly and I just rolled my eyes, is giving my girlfriend love so bad? Jeez.

"Ya'll are such joykillers, I just wanted to give my girl some affection." I said, Ashton rolled his eyes and huffed and I just raised my eyebrow at him and he just looked away. Well, looks like someone's jealous that he doesn't have a girlfriend.

"Now, cmon, what do we watch?" Paisley asked, Ashton and I set up two mattresses in here and it was decided that Ashley and I were gonna be on her bed, Hazel and Paisley on a mattress, and Matt and Ashton on one, which I assume would change during the night. You know...Ashton and Paisley, there's definitely something going on.

"Oh there's this movie that a friend recommended, I think it's called 365 days or something, she didn't say what it was about and just said to watch it." Hazel said, I think I've heard of that, but I never really looked into it.

"Did she say if it was nice?" Ashton asked

"Yeah, she said it was great." She replied, we all agreed and she put it on.

We all got into our beds and Ashley cuddled up beside me.

"Wait, how about the masks?" I asked remembering the goop on my face.

"We can pause the movie, babe. We'll wash them off, okay?" Ashley said, I nodded my head and we all tuned in to the movie.

Okay, so kinda late update, but here's a chapter for you guys!! I actually did watch 365 days and well and thankfully I watched it alone because that would've been really awkward. It's a really nice movie though, the story was really great despite the...mature scenes. Anyways, more updates to come and I'm gonna be updating the cast list and I have updates the cast list as well for my other book 'His Weakness', just in case any of you know it! I love you guys!
