Ashley's POV:
We walked into the cafeteria and I saw Nolan laughing with Sophie. I trust Nolan, I really do but this girl is new in school and she's already getting on my nerves.
"What did we say? Don't worry, you and Nolan are totally meant to be together; not even Sophie can tear you guys apart." She said, I smiled and nodded my head. We walked back to the table and I sat beside Nolan and Sophie was in front of me.
"Hey, you're back." Nolan said and pecked my lips, I smiled and grabbed his hand and began to play with his fingers like I always do.
"Yeah, I'm hungry; can you get me some food?" I asked him, he smiled and nodded his head.
"Of course, I was about to get food for myself too but I decided to wait for you. What do you want?" He asked
"I'll just have whatever you're having." I said, he nodded and kissed my head before standing up and walking away; I faced Sophie.
"So it's Sophie, right?" I asked her
"Yep, Sophie McKnight" She said and I hummed in response.
"So what brings you here?" Hazel asked joining in on the conversation and I shot her a grateful smile.
"My Dad got a job here so my parents and I moved here." She said, nothing too fishy I guess.
"Well that's great, do you have any siblings?" I asked her
"Yeah, I have an older brother; his name is Gavin and he's in college back where we live. He decided that he would stay back home and just rent a dorm in his college." She explained
"Oh well that's cool." I said faking interest, I know I'm acting like such a bitch, but I still do not like this girl at all.
"Do you have a boyfriend?" Hazel asked and I looked at her and she just shrugged, I heard Sophie laugh and I looked back at her.
"No, I don't have a boyfriend." She said, after she said that, Nolan came back and set a tray in front of me.
"Here you go, baby." He said and placed a kiss on my head; I smiled and kissed his cheek as he sat down beside me. He placed his tray down too and started munching away.
"You two are a really cute couple." I heard Sophie say as I was eating a fry; I looked at her and put a smile on my face.
"Thank you" I said and looked at Nolan who was talking to Ashton while holding his burger in his hand. I sighed and went back to eating my food.
I still don't know what to think about Sophie, I mean she seems nice and all, but there's just something about her. Also, she was flirting with my brother earlier and she seemed pretty pretty close with Nolan earlier. Julian did say that she was a bit too friendly with guys and the school day's not even over yet. I'm not one to judge her or anything, but I can't really help it now can I? I don't want her to get in between my boyfriend and I.
*After School*
Nolan and Ashton said that they had some stuff to do and they told us to go home and not to wait for them anymore. The girls and I are already in the car on the way to the house; Hazel was beside me while Paisley was in the backseat.
"What do you think the guys are doing?" I asked, Hazel turned to me and she looked at Paisley and then back at me.
"Ashton said that he needed to talk to the coach about something." Paisley said to me and I just sighed.
"Don't be so paranoid, you trust Nolan don't you?" Hazel asked, I saw the house come into view and I took a deep breath.
"Of course I trust Nolan, but cmon, Paisley how did you feel when you saw her all over Ashton?" I asked her as I parked the car in the driveway.
"Okay fine, I was really upset, I understand you but just don't be so paranoid about this Ash."She said, I nodded my head and turned the engine off. We all got out of the car and walked in the house. I saw Mom in the living room watching TV with Nathan and Dale.
"Hey Mom" I greeted, she and the boys looked at me and gave us a wave. I walked over and sat beside Mom and hugged her, when I pulled away I looked at her little noticeable bump and smiled.
"How is my little sister?" I asked her, she smiled as well and rubbed her stomach.
"Doing good, the cravings have started." She said, I nodded my head and hugged her again with my head resting on her chest.
"Honey, what's wrong?" She asked, I just sighed and didn't even bother to answer.
"She's being paranoid" Hazel answered for me, Mom caressed my hair and I just closed my eyes enjoying my mom's embrace.
"Boys why don't you go upstairs? Start your homework and I'll come check up on you later." I heard shuffling and I assumed they walked out.
"Okay, what's wrong?" Mom asked again and I just couldn't bring myself to answer her.
"There's a new girl in school and Ashley's being paranoid because the new girl was all over Ashton earlier and then at lunch she was talking to Nolan." Hazel explained, my eyes are remained closed and I hugged mom tighter.
"Why are you being paranoid? You trust Nolan, don't you?" She asked, I opened my eyes and and sat up properly; I looked at her and shrugged my shoulders.
"I trust him, but I just don't feel too good about this girl." I said, I know I seem like I'm making a big deal out of this but I just can't help it.
"I know Nolan; he won't do such things that are running through your head. I know that he loves you with all his heart and that he would do anything for you." She said, I smiled and nodded my head.
"You're right; maybe I really am just paranoid. I trust Nolan, he wouldn't do that." I said, she smiled and kissed my forehead.
"Where are the guys anyways?" She asked
"Oh they said that they had some stuff to do and they'd walk home." I told her, she looked at her watch and nodded her head.
"Well alright then, would you girls like something to eat?" She asked, we all smiled and nodded our heads.
*An hour later*
I dropped the girls off at their houses and I was on my way back home. An hour has passed since school let out and I don't really know if the guys have arrived home. I haven't talked to Nolan since we saw each other in school, so I wouldn't know. The house came into view and I parked it on the driveway before getting out.
I walked in and heard Ashton's voice in the kitchen with Mom. I walked in the kitchen and saw Ashton sitting on the counter talking to Mom; he looked over at me and smiled.
"Hey sis" He said jumping off the counter and giving me a hug.
"Hey where's Nolan?" I asked him as he pulled away.
"Oh, uh he said that he was going to a friend's house to hang out or something." He said, I raised an eyebrow; Nolan didn't tell me anything about that.
"Did he say who?" I asked him and he just shook his head, but I saw him hesitate.
"Nah he didn't say. He was in a bit of a rush." He said and I just nodded my head reluctantly.
"Oh ok then" I said a little disappointed that Nolan didn't tell where he was going, not even a single text from him.
"I'm going to my room, I'll see you guys later." I said, they both nodded their heads and I walked out of the kitchen and walked up the stairs to go to my room.
