Ashley's POV:
Finally, it was time for me to go home. I had to take some medications, but that was better than me having to stay here. Mom and Dad came back the next morning and said that Nolan and the kids were back at home cleaning up the house for me. Ashton went and fixed my things while Mom helped me get out of this hospital gown and into some real clothes. After taking a shower, I felt squeaky clean. It was my first shower in days and it felt good. Dad went to go sign the papers while we fix up in here
"Ready to go home, Ash?" Ashton asked, I smiled and nodded my head.
"Yeah, you know I never liked hospital. Especially when we were kids." I said, Mom stopped what she was doing and gave us a sad look.
"I'm sorry you guys had to witness that." She said, Ashton and I looked at each other before giving her a hug.
"Mom, don't worry about it. Everything's alright now. Aunt Lucy's all good now, she's perfectly fine. She went to rehab for years, and now she's back with Gammy and Pappy." I said, she let out a little laugh and wiped the tears that fell from her eyes.
"Yeah, I know. It's just that, as your sister before I don't know why I didn't just ask help from Christian. I could've just pushed my pride away so that you could've had a better childhood than watching me get beat up." She explained, Ashton sighed and took Mom's face in his hands.
"Mom, everything's fine now. Don't worry about anything, okay? We love you so much, Dad loves you, Nathan loves you, even Nolan and Dale love you. Now stop worrying." He said, Mom smiled and wrapped her arms around Ashton. He smiled and wrapped his arms around her. I smiled and wrapped my arms around her as well.
"We love you, Mom. You may not be our real mother, but you're still part of our family. You're our cousin yeah, but you stood as our mother." I said
"I'm so lucky to have you guys." She said, the door opened and Dad walked in.
"Hey, what's going on here? Amanda, are you crying?" He asked, he dropped everything and walked towards Mom taking her from us and scanning her.
"Are you alright?" He asked wiping away her tears. Ashton and I looked at each other and smiled.
"Still as sweet as ever." I said and he agreed with me.
"I'm fine, babe. Just got a little emotional and- wait." She said, she then dashed to the bathroom and I followed her. She was there throwing up in the toilet bowl, I closed the door behind me and held her hair up.
"Mom, are you okay?" I asked her, I heard Dad and Ashton knocking on the door but we both ignored them. She finished emptying her stomach and I helped her up, she went to the sink and gargled some water.
"Mom, are you...?" I trailed off, she looked at me and I gave her some tissues. She wiped her mouth and leaned her back on the counter.
"I don't know, I haven't taken a test yet. But, I've been throwing up for a week now." She said, I looked at her and I felt excitement surge through my veins.
"You're telling me that there's a possibility that you're pregnant?" I whisper yelled, she smiled and nodded her head. I silently squealed and jumped up and down.
"OMG, there might be a little baby running around the house in a few months. I can't wait, I want a girl, I'm sick of boys running around the house." I said, she laughed and held me down.
"Gosh, Ash. Calm down, we're not even sure yet. I might just be getting the flu." She said and I just raised an eyebrow at her.
"Mom, you and I know that that's not just the flu. You know what happens in those books, when the girl throws up it's an automatic sign that she's pregnant." I deadpanned, she laughed and shook her head.
"You read too much books, Ash." She said
"At least it makes me smart." I said flipping my hair.
"You go set up the appointment, I'll go distract your Dad and your brother. I don't want to tell them just yet." She said, I smiled and nodded my head.
"And please hide your excitement." She said and I just rolled my eyes.
"Don't roll your eyes at me, young lady." She said
"Young lady? I'm like 10 years younger than you." I said, she rolled her eyes and slapped my arms.
"Owww" I whined and rubbed my arm.
"I'm trying to be a mother here." She whined as well, I laughed and shook my head.
"You're motherly enough, Mom. Now don't slap me, you slap hard, jeez." I said
"Whatever, let's go." She said
"Wait, who am I setting an appointment with?" I asked her
"Me!" She said
"I mean who's the doctor, Mom." I said
"Oh right, the doctor's Mrs. Reynolds." She said
"Reynolds? Like Ryan Reynolds?" I asked, she laughed and shook her head.
"Just shush, let's go." She said grabbing my arm, we both walked out and Dad and Ashton were sitting on the couch both were biting their nails.
"You guys are so weird." I said, their heads snapped in our direction and Dad ran to Mom.
"Hey, are you okay?" Dad asked Mom, she chuckled and nodded her head.
"Yeah, just feeling a little under the weather." She said, he sighed in relief and wrapped his arms around Mom.
"Yeah, I think I just ate a bad breakfast, but I'll be good." She said, she gave me a look and I just nodded my head.
"I'm gonna head out and go buy something from the vending machine. I'll be quick." I said walking over to the door and grabbing the door handle.
"You want me to go with you?" I heard Ashton ask as I was about to open the door, I turned to him and gave him a smile.
"No, it's alright. I'll just be quick." I said, he nodded his head and I walked out the room.
