Chapter 24

(A/N: Okay, so this will be a bit of a boring chapter but I swear, the next chapter would be better! Love ya <3 ) 

Ashley's POV:

Mom noticed my presence and turned to me. 

"Good morning, Ash. We made breakfast, dig in." She said giving me a plate of french toast, I smiled and took it.

"Thanks, Mom." I said, she smiled and kissed my cheek.

"We're leaving in a while and we just wanted to see you all before we leave since we're gonna be gone all day." Aunt Alyssa said, right, they were supposed to go somewhere....and we have to take care of these monsters.

*After breakfast* 

"Alright, we're leaving. Please take care of yourselves, call us if you need anything. Don't do anything stupid, take care of the kids. There's money in the in the fruit basket if you guys want take out because i figured that Ashley would be too lazy to cook and Ashton and Nolan would probably run the house down. Also-" 

"Mom! Stop, we're gonna be fine. It's just a day, nothing can go wrong and for your information, I am not too lazy." I said and crossed my arms over my chest, she laughed and wrapped her arms around me.

"I know, just saying. By the way, my doctor's appointment is tomorrow and you're coming with me along with Aunt Alyssa." She said whispering the last parts in my ear, I smiled and felt the excitement rush through my veins once again. 

"Alright, we'll see you guys later." I said pulling away from Mom, I gave Dad, Aunt Alyssa, and Uncle Nate a hug and the others did the same as well. They walked out and we were left all alone, I turned to look at everyone and they were all giving me smiles. Creepy much?

"What's up with you guys?" I asked them, Ashton walked towards me and wrapped his arms around me.

"Nolan has a little surprise for you later." He whispered in my ear, I looked up at him and glanced at Nolan to see him giving me a smile.

"What?" I asked, Ashton just chuckled and shrugged his shoulders.

"You'll find out later this afternoon." He said bopping my nose. 

"You're so weird, I swear." I said swatting his hand away from my face. Nolan and a surprised in one sentence, not weird at all. Nolan doesn't do surprises, what the hell was that supposed to mean?

"Anyways, what do you guys want to do?" I asked everyone, they all looked at me and shrugged their shoulders. Though, I did see Dale sneaking glances at Morgan and she was completely clueless and was looking up at Shane like she was expecting him to say something. Shane then looked at me and gave me a sheepish smile.

"I was just planning on going to the park with Morgan. She said she wants to bring her since she wants to go on the swings." Shane said

"Alright, do you want me to go with you guys?" I asked, they both shook their heads and gave me a smile.

"No, that won't be necessary." Morgan said giving me her big bright smile, I returned the smile nodded my head.

"Well are you guys leaving now?" I asked them, they both nodded their heads.

"Well okay then, please take care of yourselves. Shane, please keep an eye on Morgan." I said, well more like demanded and they both nodded their heads once again.

"Yes, Ash. We'll be fine, we won't be too long." Shane said 

"Alright then, well better get going then." I told them, they both nodded their heads and took off. 

"I'm gonna go take out Shaun, he wants to use Nathan's car, so we'll probably be around the neighbourhood." Ashton chuckled, I smiled and nodded my head.

"Well alright then, I guess I'm stuck with the two kids and well uhh Nolan." I said sneaking a glance at Nolan who was smiling ear to ear. 

"I don't think so, Sis. Dale and I are going to his house because his Xbox is there and he has way more games than I do, so we're gonna hang out there for a while." Nathan said coming back from the storage room holding Bridget's leash in his hand. I think I know what they're doing here, sneaky little jerks. 

"Hmm, are you sure you guys will be alright by yourselves? I mean, Nolan and I can go with you guys." I said, they both shook their heads and I mentally glared at them. 

"Nah, we're good, thanks tho." Dale said, I sighed and nodded my head.

"Well then please go change out of your pyjamas. You guys, please go put some anti mosquito lotion since you're going to be out all day." I said to everyone

"Yes Mom." They all replied, weird, but okay.

"Whatever." I said and rolled my eyes.

"Okay, so please stay out of trouble and don't eat too much junk food." I said to Nathan and Dale.

"Yes, Ash. We'll be fine, don't worry." Dale said, I sighed and nodded my head.

"I know, but still." I said, they laughed and gave me a hug.

"We'll see you later, Ash." Nathan said as they pulled away from the hug. 

"Alright, take care of yourselves." I said and opened the front door for them, they smiled at me and walked out. I saw Shaun riding the car and Ashton chasing him around, I smiled at the scene and sighed. I closed the door and suddenly remembered that Nolan was still here, and that we were alone together, great.

"So..." I trailed off as I stood there awkwardly by the door, he chuckled at me and walked towards me.

"Why do you seem so nervous, Le Le?" He asked, I felt my heart beat rise and I just let out a low laugh.

"Who says I'm nervous, stupid?" I fired back and mentally face palmed myself, that was a stupid comeback.

"Your actions do, you're sweating a lot." He smirked, I placed my hand on my forehead and sure enough, I was sweating like a pig. What the actual heck.

"It's just hot in here." I lied

"Yeah sure, let's pretend I believe that." He chuckled and I just rolled my eyes.

"So what are we supposed to do?" I asked him, he walked closer that we were now face to face with each other.

"I say you get dressed, I'm taking you somewhere." He said, I gulped and let out a small smile.

"Where are we going?" I asked him in a bit of a shaky voice.

"Just somewhere, I know you'll like it. Oh and dress casual." He said and took a step back giving me space to breathe. The question that was running through my head was...

Was this a date?

Alright, so I know I haven't update in foreverrrrr, but forgive me! I'm gonna be updating twice for you guys! Two updates for 'My Twin's Best Friend' and two for 'His Weakness' because I feel really bad. The reason why I haven't updated in a while is because I recently got a new phone and I have been exploring it and transferring all my whatnot. Also, I was having a major writer's block yet again and I was really blank. So yeah, that's that, I'm really sorry, but I hope this makes up for it. Love youuuuu!!!
