Ashton's POV:
I looked at Ashley as we walked in Sophie's room and I saw betrayal written all over her face and all I felt was rage. I thought I knew Nolan better than this, how the hell could he do this to Ashley? And with Sophie too? They were too busy getting on with each other to notice we even entered the room and I felt complete and utter disgust. I wrapped an arm around Ashley's shoulder as she let out a sob, she tore away from my grasp and ran out the room. The two finally noticed they weren't the only ones in the room and looked at me. Nolan had a stunned look on his face and Sophie was smirking, that bitch.
"Ashton? What are you doing here?" He asked, I rolled my eyes and looked back at Sophie.
"Why don't I leave you two to finish? Excuse me, I have a sister to comfort. Oh and Nolan, you can forget we were even friends and don't you dare come back to our house." I told him turning around and walking out of Sophie's room and ran to look for Ashley. I reached the door and I heard Sophie's mom.
"I saw her run to the park, I hope everything's okay." She said, I gratefully smiled at her and nodded my head.
"Thank you, I'll be going now." I said, she nodded her head and I walked away and I ran to the car and quickly started the engine and went to the direction Sophie's mom pointed to. I looked around while driving slowly and I eventually reached the park and I saw my sister sitting on a swing with a little boy, who looked about Nathan and Dale's age, beside her trying to comfort her.
I turned the engine off and got out the car shoving my keys in my pocket and walked over to where she was. The little boy looked at me and gave me a glare, I raised an eyebrow and Ashley turned around and looked at me.
"Don't worry, Josh, this is my twin brother. He's not the guy who hurt me." She explained to him, his eyes softened and gave me an apologetic smile. I looked at Ashley and saw her eyes were red and puffy from all the crying and I felt all my anger for Nolan returned and I know she noticed.
"Calm down, Ash." She said, I looked at her like she was crazy and she just let out a small smile.
"How are you so calm about this?" I asked her, she sighed and looked down at her lap.
"I kinda saw it coming, I guess it's not too surprising knowing Nolan's past but it doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt." She said and I saw the tears build up in her eyes again. The little boy, who I learned was named Josh, got up from his swing and grabbed Ashley's hand and pulled her up.
"What are you doing?" She asked him, the little boy just smiled and looked at me.
"Do you guys like ice cream?" He asked, I nodded my head and his smile widened.
"Great, I know a great ice cream place not too far from here!" He exclaimed and grabbed my hand with his other hand and dragged Ashley and I to the opposite direction.
"Aren't your parents going to wonder where you are?" I asked him as he continued to lead us to the ice cream place.
"Nah, I always go to the park at this time and they're fine with it." He said, I looked at Ashley and she had a genuine smile on her face and I could tell that this kid was making her happy, kids just have a special place in her heart.
A few minutes later, we stopped at a cute looking ice cream place and Josh was beaming with excitement.
"I'm sure when you taste their ice cream here, you're gonna feel all better." He said to Ashley, she smiled and looked around at the place as we entered. The place had a very nostalgia feel to it, it makes you feel like a kid again and I looked around and there were a decent amount of people and they all seemed to be having a good time.
"C'mon, let's go order!" Josh said and grabbed our hands and dragged us to the cashier. We all placed our orders and I paid for them and we looked for seats and saw a table by the window and Josh yet again dragged us to the table. We sat down happily eating our ice creams and I looked at Ashley and saw that she looked happy and she seemed to forget about the whole Nolan and Sophie situation, which is good, but I know that when we get home she's going to feel horrible.
We spent another hour with Josh before deciding that it was time to go home. We brought Josh back to the park and he and Ashley had a little talk. Ashley and I promised to meet him here again in a few days and it was time to leave. As we were walking to the car, Josh ran back to us and hugged Ashley, she smiled and crouched down to hug him properly.
"Don't forget about me." He said, she slightly pulled away to look at him and she just smiled.
"I couldn't forget about you even if I tried, Josh. Don't worry, we'll see you next week, okay?" She said, he nodded his head and I saw tears form in his eyes. From the little time that they met, I could just tell that we were going to see more of Josh in the future since I know my sister won't be able to resist. She wiped the tears he shed and kissed his forehead.
"I'll see you soon, bud." She said and gave him one last hug and stood up, he looked at me and gave me a smile before he ran off. I looked at Ashley as she watched him play with the others kids.
"I swear, you're like a child magnet." I told her and wrapped an arm her shoulder, she looked up at me and smiled.
"I just love kids, they're always so filled with joy and happiness and whenever I'm with them they're happiness rubs off on me." She said, I smiled at her and kissed her head, she sighed and we continued walking back to our car.

We were now home and I saw Nolan's car in their driveway. I looked at Ashley and saw her already looking at his car.
"Ash, are you okay?" I asked her, she looked at me and I saw her crying. I immediately wrapped my arms around her and she buried her head in my shoulder. I realized that she wasn't gonna stop any time soon so I turned the engine off the car off and slowly pulled away from her and got out of the car and ran off to her side. I opened her door and wrapped an arm under her knees and my other arm on her back. She buried her face on my chest and I felt her tears staining my chest, but I could care less.
I entered the house and I saw Mom and Dad walk out of the kitchen and saw me carrying Ashley.
"What happened?" Mom asked and they both walked towards us to check on Ashley. I looked down at her and saw that she fell asleep, I looked back at Mom and Dad and they were looking at her worriedly.
"Something happened with her and Nolan." I said, Dad looked at me and raised his eyebrow questioning me.
"I'm sure Ashley will explain everything tomorrow, she just needs to rest, she's been through a lot today." I said, they both nodded their heads and both placed a kiss on her forehead. I walked away from them and walked up the stairs to her room. I carefully opened her door and walked in, I walked over to her bed and gently placed her on it. I took off her shoes and socks and sat beside her, I looked at her tear stained face and yet again my anger for Nolan came back.
I can't believe he would do this to Ashley, I've known him for quite some time and I know his history with girls. I never wanted him to date Ashley, but he told me that he loved her and that he wouldn't hurt her. I know that he loves her, so I really don't understand why he would do this. I know one thing's for sure though, I am not letting him anywhere near my sister.
