"Mommy! Mommy!"
Yukino was outside gardening, trimming the rose bushes beyond which was Rogue and Minerva's house. Lector was curled up in a ball next to her, napping. She grinned as she saw her son and daughter, Angel and Weiss rush out of the house, almost tripping on their own feet. They scrambled over to her and stared at her with huge eyes.
"Can you please read a little more to us after you're done?"
Angel begged, her eyes shining with excitement. Weiss stayed quiet as usual but looked just as anxious as his sister.
Yukino laughed lightly.
"Of course dear, I'm just about done here, but I have to pack for my job tomorrow. How about you guys go over to Auntie Minerva's and play with Clove for a bit?"
"Okay. I'll tell her she's your favorite niece for forever!"
Yukino patted them on the shoulder as she washed her hands and headed back inside.
An hour later, she was all set for her three day stay, and she heard Minerva talking outside and the giggles of the children.
"Yukinooo! Sting is home and the kids ran out to see him!"
"Oh, thanks Minerva! I'll be right out!"
Yukino stepped out the door and ran straight into Sting. She looked up at him, his handsome face grinning down at hers. Her heart beat faster, and she felt the love she felt so strongly for him as if they had just met. This feeling would never go away.
"Hey, beautiful."
"Hey, handsome."
Minerva sighed.
"Yukino, you're blushing like a schoolgirl!"
"Oh umm yeah, haha!"
Minerva rolled her eyes affectionally.
Sting lifted Weiss and Angel both into his air and spun them around, then giving them a nice, big, bear hug.
"Daddy, we missed you so much!"
"How are my little tigers?"
"Stayin' fierce!" Weiss imitated Sting's voice but it came out light and chirpy.
"Well of course, not as fierce as you in bed..."
Sting kissed Yukino on the cheek as she
blushed even redder.
"STING EUCLIFFE! IF I HEAR YOU MAKE ANOTHER SEX JOKE AROUND THE CHILDREN I WILL-"
The children looked confused, but didn't seem to mind as Rogue and Clove with Frosche in her arms appeared next to them too.
"What's all this ruckus about-"
"Uncle Rogue, you're home too!" Angel screamed, and barreled into him.
Rogue still didn't exactly fix his social anxiety issue, but he was better with kids now.
"How's my favorite niece doing?"
"Very well!"
"Well, that's...um, very good! Anyway you guys, Natsu, Lucy, Igneel, and her newborn daughter Aquarius are inviting us to their place while Natsu and Igneel will experiment with some grilling with dragon slayer fire for a barbecue. They wanted you guys to come too with us. What do you say?"
