Hi everyone! I'm so sorry for the long wait! I honestly forgot a little about this FanFiction because Fairy Tail ended...*cries*
Anyway, here's the long due chapter. This FanFiction will end soon, (probably another chapter and then epilogue) and I may write another Fairy Tail FanFiction, or one about Cross Country Running because there aren't many stories about it and it is my favorite sport. Also, I'm just a teenager and I have absolutely no idea how weddings work, I've never been to one and I'm sorry if the wedding scene is totally not how it's supposed to be. (I put writing this off partially because of that too.) The video attached is my favorite fairy tail episode ever, (it's a condensed video of a few episodes) if you would like to watch. It's Sting and Rogue vs. Natsu and Gajeel in the Grand Magic Games Arc.
With the current virus, I hope for everyone's good health and happiness. Stay healthy and safe, I love you guys!

[Sting]

As soon as Minerva left, Sting buried his face in his hands and sighed. Rogue stood beside him, patting his shoulder reassuringly.
"You'll do fine, there's really nothing you can mess up." Rogue said in a strangely gentle manner, usually reserved for Frosch and Frosch alone.
"I know. I just...love her so much, you know? She's everything to me. What if I hurt her somehow in the future? How can I ever forget what I feel for her? I'm sorry. I'll stop. I know you hate this kind of stuff."
Rogue didn't know what to say, but murmured kindly: "It's okay. You'll never hurt her. She truly loves you, you'll both have your happily ever after."
Sting stood up, his eyes slightly watery as he adjusted his tie one last time. All he say staring back was a worried man appearing confident. He hoped that was enough to get by.
Rogue grinned and extended a hand to Sting. "Come on, light bulb, it's your time to shine."
————————————————————————
He walked into the open, his heart hammering in his chest. He remembered all the times it had done so, every time for her. Every time he loved her, every time he fought the fights he did for her, every time he thought of her. Every beat of his heart beat for her. The music was soft and joyful, perfect for the occasion. He took a step, seeing all of the expectant, admiring faces of his audience, his guild mates, his friends, his family. He was completely overwhelmed, and then saw her waiting for him on the far end. Under the most beautiful arch of flowers, dressed in the most beautiful gown, was the most beautiful woman in the world. Yukino. His Yukino. The Minerva to Rogue, the Erza to Jellal, the Lucy to Natsu.
He would die for her, so many times over. He had never felt this way, the love pulsing in his veins with his blood, willing to defend her to the last scrap of his body and strength. He stared across the small distance between them, her seeming like an ocean away, the moment surreal. Yukino was going to be his wife! They were about to be married! He finally had the courage to walk to her side. He lifted her slender hand, knelt, and kissed it.
"My love."
Lector flew onto stage, perching on the small altar for him. He was dressed in a
Priest's outfit, and appearing serious as ever. He gave Sting a small smile, trying not to break character. Sting smiled back.
Rogue and Minerva came in, standing next to them. Their hands were entwined as were their hearts. Happy and Carla were soaring above the stage, throwing flowers down the aisle, as Frosch stood aside with the rings. Sting cleared his voice.
"Thank you, for coming here tonight, as you know it is a very special occasion for Sabertooth. It is my pleasure to welcome you to the wedding of Yukino and I." He stopped, terrified. He couldn't remember the next part! He had spent days writing the speech and then many more trying to memorize it. Suddenly, he knew what to do. It was as clear as the crisp autumn sky, and the water of a well. Scrap that speech he thought. I speak from my heart, not from paper.
"A few years ago, I was in a position where I was not a good guild mate. I watched as people were hurt; never had I thought that strength wasn't always the answer. I thought I was strong, able to do anything I wanted, and let my ambition control me. Sabertooth was not a true guild. But now, I've made it a place where feelings are nurtured and power is equal. Firstly, I thank Rogue and Minerva, the greatest friends I have ever had. They understand me, and are always willing to make mistakes with me to help our knowledge grow. Secondly, I must thank Lector, my treasured best friend, and my cat. He is loyal and is always optimistic for good things to come. In fact, he was the one who encouraged me to pursue Yukino in the first place, and he once promised to wed me and today he keeps his promise. In these few years, I've learned so much, to be a leader, to be a better friend, to love. I owe this to Yukino, the one I love, and here today to wed. I love her. So much. I don't know where I would be without her, she was there for me every step of the way." He choked up, feeling a lump in his throat. The audience was silent, with some shedding silent tears. "Thank you." He whispered quietly.
Yukino was full on sobbing now, and barreled into him with a hug. Minerva and Rogue stood still, tears also shining in their eyes.
Minerva spoke:
"Yukino is the best friend I could ever have, and she looks away from my past and on to my future. She forgave me for my actions, and cared for me while I was an outcast. I can never repay her, and I am honored to be her maid of honor today. Thank you Yukino, I wish you all the happiness in the world."
Yukino cried even harder, but managed to say

"Thank you."

Rogue spoke up too:
"Sting, we have been partners for years. All the jobs we have went on, all the adventures we've gone through, the hardships we've faced, we are the Light Dragon and Shadow Dragon Duo forever. You and Yukino are meant to be. I hope you will be happy for the rest of your lives."

Sting reached over Yukino, still crying, and fist bumped Rogue with all his sincerity. Rogue smiled. It would always be them, in the good old days and the good new future.

Lucy raised her glass from the audience.
"May I speak?"

"Of course."

"A toast to the bride, a wonderful woman who brings joy to us all, and who will now bring joy to you, Sting. Yukino is the kindest person I know, so treat her like gold. Spend the rest of your days in peace and compassion!"
She sat down, also beginning to cry.

Natsu yelled out, "Sting! You're a proud Dragon Slayer with plenty to be proud of!"

He was a quickly shushed by Lucy and glared at by her and Erza.

Finally, it was Lector's turn. Lector spoke, his tiny voice seeming to boom in the silence.

"As Sting mentioned, I once promised Sting to marry him and Yukino. At the time, it was somewhat a fantasy, but now, the time has come. I love you two both and I could not have a better guildmaster."

Lector cleared his throat professionally, while crying.

"Will you have this man to be your husband, to live together in holy marriage? Will you love him, comfort him, honor, and keep him in sickness and in health, and forsaking all others, be faithful to him as long as you both shall live?"

"I do." Yukino said shakily, her hands trembling in Sting's.

"Will you have this woman to be your wife to live together in holy marriage? Will you love her, comfort her, honor, and keep her in sickness and in health, and forsaking all others, be faithful to her as long as you both shall live?"

"I do." Sting said certainly, the most certain he had ever been in his life.

"In the name of God, I, Sting, take you, Yukino, to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, to love and to cherish, until we are parted by death. This is my solemn vow."

Lector let a second silence ring after Sting spoke. Frosch tottered you to them with the rings, and slipped them onto Sting and Yukino's fingers.

"With this ring I wed thee."

Yukino stepped closer to Sting. She reached to touch his face.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride!"

She kissed him, the most passionate and loving thing he had ever felt. This was real. This was what he had been waiting for since that fateful day they met. He kissed her back, trying to give her all of his love in a seemingly simple gesture.

When they finally drew apart, the audience was cheering and clapping. Sting didn't know how to feel. It was the most important moment in his life. He was now married, married to the love of his life, and as lucky as he could ever be.

"I love you." Yukino whispered in his ear, and hugged him tightly again.

"As do I."

Through all of his tears, that day, Lector smiled the biggest smile recorded in exceed history.
