Triwizard Treasure (Cedric Diggory)

Well done for all of you that correctly guessed the subject of this one shot: the Hufflepuff golden boy, Cedric Diggory! I hope you enjoy it! Also, there will be part of this one shot that is in Cedric's point of view.

"How do you do it?" Angelina asked me as we walked towards the Gryffindor Common Room.

"Do what?" I asked.

"Be so perfect!" Angelina replied to which I shoved her playfully.

"I am not perfect!" I exclaimed in response.

"Oh My Godric, Fowler! You've got the highest academic grades in our year, your our star chaser, everyone loves you and..." Alicia said.

"You're dating Cedric Diggory!" Alicia and Angelina told me together.

"First if all, not everyone loves me and second of all, that doesn't make me perfect." I said.

Angelina and Alicia both went to say something but were interrupted by someone calling out my name.

"Fowler!"

I turned around and smiled.

"Cedric!" I said, once he reached me and we greeted each other with a simple kiss.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go to the Yule Ball with me?" He said with a smirk.

"Hmmm, I don't know...I was thinking of going with someone else." I teased but a went onto my tiptoes and kissed him lightly. "Yes." I told him, which earned me another kiss.

"Perfect, I'll see you in the Entrance Hall at seven." He said. "Right, I've got to run to Charms, see you later."

"See you later." I repeated and with that, he threw me a wink and jogged off in the direction of his friends and I headed back to Angelina and Alicia.

"Going to the ball with loverboy?" Alicia asked.

"Who else would I go with?" I responded before we headed off towards the Common Room for our free period.

I had a great time at the Yule Ball with Cedric and all our friends, we danced, talked and ate all night. We all headed back to our common rooms feeling happy, full and content.

The few weeks after the Yule Ball was spent helping Cedric figure out the Golden Egg. Although he seemed to figure it out by taking a bath?

"A bath, Cedric? Really?" I asked the evening before the second task, we were sitting on a window sill catching up.

"Yup. Moaning Myrtle told me. So, I went underwater and opened it. It doesn't scream underwater, it sings." Cedric said.

"Do you know how ridiculous you sound right now?" I asked him.

"It's mermaids, Fowler. The second task is mermaids. Look, I'll show you." He said getting up and taking my hands.

"Alright, then." I said with a smile as we began walking.

"Fowler!" I turned around at the sound of my name.

"Rihanna! Hey!" I said greeting the Ravenclaw 5th year. "How can I help you?"

"Professor Dumbledore would like to see you in his office, now." She informed me with a smile.

"Thank you." I told her. "Show me after, if not I'll meet you in the entrance hall before the task to walk you down?" I asked Cedric who kissed my temple in response.

"See you soon."

I made my way towards Professor Dumbledore's office and said the password, I pushed open the door to see Hermione Granger, Ronald Weasley and Fleur's little sister.
