Well done to those of you that guessed, this one-shot is about George Weasley! I hope you all enjoy my darlings!

I kept a close eye on my son, Callum, as he ran off down the alley. Everything was so surreal. One minute I was a 27-year-old working her arse off at the local Tesco to provide for the two of us and the next thing I know, my son's a wizard!

"Mum! Mum! Can we go in here? Pleaaaaase?" Callum asked, hope sparkling in his eyes.

"Oh! Go on then!" I said with a smile and followed my son as he headed into the joke shop. It was quite late in the evening so there were only a couple of people in the shop. I kept a few steps behind Callum as he browsed the shelf when a red-head man approached him.

"Hey, there, looking for something to prank your sister here with?"

Callum started laughing. "She's not my sister! She's my mum!"

"Surprise!" I said jokingly.

"Oh, I'm so sorry!" The man said straightening up to look at me.

"It's alright, really," I said with a smile. "Callum just wanted to have a look around, although, I might let him get a couple things as long as they don't make a huge mess in the house." I chuckled as I stumbled back a little at the force of Callum's hug.

"Thank you!" He said before turning around to the man. "So, what do you have?"

"What don't I have is the better question!" The man said before leading Callum around the shop.

We learnt that the man's name was George and he owned the shop. As he pointed different things out to Callum, he explained aspects of the Wizarding World to me, after about an hour, George wrapped up the things we'd brought and handed me a card with a number on it.

"In case you have any more questions, call the number on here," George told me.

"Thank you, I will," I said with a smile before exiting the shop.

"So, Hufflepuff is the nice house right?" I asked as I sat on the counter of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. I had received my first letter from Callum and was currently going over bits of it with George. It was after closing time and the two of us were sat in the shop.

"It's the house of kindness, loyalty, hard work and patience," George explained.

"My son is in that house because?" I said with a smile causing George to smile in return.

"I was a little surprised too, after meeting your son I thought he'd end up in Gryffindor," George confessed.

"That was your old house, right? The one about bravery?" I asked.

"That's the one." A voice said from the wall, I turned to see a portrait.

"But out, Fred!" George said with an eye roll.

"Did the portrait just speak?" I asked.

"That I did, darling!" The portrait said with a wink.

"Why do you have a portrait of your brother here?" I asked.

The room went silent.

"I died, love, about 3 months, ago," Fred told me.

I quickly turned to George. " I am so sorry!"

"It's OK, you didn't know," George said. "Besides, getting a portrait of Fred has helped. There's three of them. One that stays here in the shop, one that stays in the Burrow, which is our family home and one that's in the flat upstairs. He can move between them so it's like he's still here."

"That's lovely," I told him earnestly.

"Thank you," George said with a smile.

Fred coughed. "Still here, you know!"

I spent a lot of my free time with George. Learning about his world helped me cope with missing Callum and pretty soon our friendship turned into something more and before I knew it, we were walking to the Burrow to meet George's family.

"I'll have to warn you, it's pretty hectic," George said with a grin.

"If I can raise Callum from age 16 and deal with you and Fred, I think I'll be fine," I said with a grin. George smiled and took my hand before he pushed open the door.

"Mum! I'm here and I've brought a visitor!"

The was a clang and a plump ginger woman came bustling to view. "Oh, George! She's gorgeous!" The woman pulled me into a hug. "I'm Molly, George's mother. George has told us so much about you, as has Fred, mind you! Come in! Come in! Everyone's in the sitting room through there, I'm just going to finish up in here and then come through." Molly told me.

"Would you like some help?" I offered.

"Oh, no, dear, I'll be fine! You go through!" I walked through into the sitting room but still heard Molly yell out.

"George! I like her!"

I smiled but that soon turned into shock at who was sat with the Weasley family.

"Surprise!" Callum said with a cheeky grin.

I held out my arms and he came running. "Oh, I've missed you, darling! You have to tell me everything!"

"I will do, mum, but first of all, George," Callum began turning to the man in question. "What are your intentions with my mother." The grin Callum was wearing let everyone know he was joking but add in my scolding and the room burst into laughter. Our first Christmas in the Wizarding World turned out to be a good one.

5 YEARS LATER (December 2003)

"Hey, everyone!" Callum called out before running into the Burrow, probably to find Charlie and Bill and ask them about dangerous things that I certainly wouldn't want him to be doing. George and I made our way inside, a little behind Callum. Everyone was sat down and talking, Molly must have already finished the food preparations.

"Sorry, we're late everyone," I announced as we walked in. "Someone took a while to get ready!" I said mock glaring at George!

"Sorry that I want to prove that I'm the better-looking twin, woman!" George replied but was soon followed by Fred's whose portrait was on the wall.

"Nope, that's still me Georgie." The room laughed and we sat down to join in the fun.

George and I have been married for three years now, having had the ceremony during the summer between Callum's second and third year at Hogwarts.

"George," Ginny called out from across the room. "I can't believe you made your family late because you were fussing over your look and you still look like that."

"I thought we were late because you were checking on the baby?" Callum called out quickly quieting at his slip up.

The room fell quiet and it was Mrs Weasley that spoke up, hope and joy clear in her voice.

"You're pregnant?"

George and I looked at each other before grinning. "Surprise?"

I hope you enjoyed this one, my darlings! I rather enjoyed writing this one, I thought it was cute. Without further ado, here are your hints for the next one-shot:
