And as usual Maya was right about that one thing.
Everyone had something to say about the situation surrounding Maya's good grade and she wasn't sure how to handle it completely.
But she wasn't entirely sure how to handle anything in her life.
She and her mom had a nice relaxing night and for the first time in years they know what's going on in each others lives.
But Maya wasn't sure if that's a good thing.

"My uncle gave Maya a nickname."

Maya looked up from where she was just reading a book.
It was for a project and she wanted to get a fresh and early start.
But telling everyone about the nickname she wasn't going to do.

"Josh?" Lucas asked.
"Only one will give her a nickname. Gorgeous. Random, hey?" Riley said.
"Unique as well. I have never heard that nickname yet," Farkle said.
"Would you ever... Did you think about your feelings for him?" Lucas asked and Maya put her book down.
"No and I don't ever want to have this conversation again. I call him Boing. That doesn't mean it's his name. Now he came with a nickname for me. What does it even matter?" Maya asked.
"And the hug?" Riley asked.
"Hug? If you guys spoke to each other in a normal tone it was an achievement now it's hugs," Lucas said.
"It was one hug and I'm not thirteen anymore. I'm turning fifteen in more than a week. Why do I have to act like I'm five?" Maya asked.
"Like Lucas said. It's a huge achievement. You usually acted so weird," Riley said and the school bell rang.
"We going to gossip or go to school?" Maya asked.
