Maya was back at home and just besut with a few stuff.
She didn't actually have plans but knew she wasn't setting foot near the Matthews tonight.
Josh made it way too uncomfortable for her.
Her phone rang and she was way to scared to answer.
M: Riles.
R: You can't just run off. Face your feelings.
M: Another time maybe. I didn't see the nickname coming.
R: Nobody did. But let's be real. He called you gorgeous. That has to mean something.
M: It means nothing at all. I guarantee you that.
R: I'm not gonna believe that. Come back.
M: Rather not. I'll see you tomorrow morning. But not now.
R: How long are you going to...
M: I'm not hiding. I'm giving him time with his family.
R: Yeah nobody including Josh believes that.
M: I have to go. I have homework to do and since everyone went crazy over at yours I don't want to know what everyone is going to do tomorrow.
R: Preparing yourself?
M: Kinda. Plus my mom said she's gonna be home early so I want to spend some time with her.
R: See you tomorrow.
M: See ya.
R: Don't dream about Josh. Night Maya.
