It was two days later as well as Monday and Maya was definitely feeling a lot better. She was just going on trying to figure out how to deal with everything happening around her. She already got dressed and as she was braiding her hair she got a call from nobody else than Joshua Matthews.

"I wondered if you were gonna," Maya said and Josh rolled his eyes "Haha. Very funny. How are you feeling?" Josh asked. "I'm okay. Finally I would say. My throat is a lot better and I got a check-up from the doctor yesterday saying I'm fine to go in but our principal wants to see me to wish me luck. Think it's about me going to school while being sick," Maya said. "I'm sure it's nothing. When are you officially moving in with your father?" Josh asked.
Of course Maya didn't mind talking about her father. At least not towards Josh but she didn't know how to talk tk anyone else about it. He knew what she is going through and after the news on her birthday he was the only one who went after her but that can maybe just be because it was his fault.
"Next month. Your brother organized a trip for the mid winter break in February. You do know about that, right?" Maya asked. "Yeah I do. Are you moving in directly after that?" Josh asked. "I'm going straight from Philadelphia to my father, yeah. I'm pretty nervous about it actually. Listen I have to go. I'll talk to you later," Maya said. "Okay, bye."
