Chapter 15

"They're coming! They're coming!"

Topanga looked at her husband and daughter which spoke at the same time.
This rarely happened and when it did she knew something was happening.

"Quiet. Maya is sleeping. What are you going on about?" Topanga asked.
"Uncle Josh and Uncle Shawn," Riley said.
"They're gonna be here in ten minutes," Cory said.
"Maya is going to be so pleased to see them. Especially Shawn," Topanga said.
"More likely my uncle. Is she okay? She was acting really weird before she got sick. Josh didn't say much. Just that she was emotional but didn't tell him what is wrong," Riley said.
"She is fine," Topanga said.

"Shawnie!"

Shawn and Josh had arrived at the Matthews house and Topanga shook her head.

"Tell your brother to be quiet. Maya is sleeping in Riley's room," Topanga said.
"Sleeping? Why?" Shawn asked.
"Brongitis which she was diagnosed with last week but hasn't completely healed and of course Katy let's her go to school like that," Topanga said.
"Shame is she okay?" Josh asked.
"Yeah she's fine," Riley said.

Maya heard voices plus a familiar scream woke her up.
She walked to the kitchen to find pretty much everyone there.

"Shawn? What are you doing here?" Maya asked.
"Ah there she is. How are ya?" Shawn asked giving Maya a hug.
"I'm good," Maya said.
"Heard you were sick. You okay?" Josh asked.
"Yeah I'm fine. I told you before. It's not your job to worry about me," Maya said giving Josh a hug.
"Yeah like I believe that," Josh said.

"We were actually hoping Shawn could help us with you," Cory said making Maya look at him.
"You guys I'm fine," Maya said.
"What happened?" Shawn asked.
"She broke down. She was really upset, in tears Josh told us everything," Riley said making Maya look at Josh.

"That's a lie. I didn't tell them everything. I told them you were pretty upset and I stopped. The rest is up to you," Josh said.
"You said..."
"My father contacted my mother," Maya said making everyone's eyes widened.
"What did he want?" Shawn asked.
"He wants full custody over me," Maya said.
