It was a Sunday afternoon but it was alse Valentine's Day as well as Josh's eighteenth birthday.
Maya smiled as she looked around at the people around all of them wondering how they got so far without even battling.
People knew about them here and their ebut not very much and Maya knew that it would have been a bad time to even talk about her father but people did which made her uncomfortable.
"It's bad about you being taken away from your mom. I never met her but I'm sure it hit her just as hard," Amy said.
"Thank you, Mrs Matthews. But I actually have some good news. My father withdrew everything," Maya said and Josh looked at her.
"What? That's amazing, Maya. When?" Josh asked.
"Earlier the week. I'm happy but my mom is going to work less shifts so she can actually get around to doing more things with me. We are finally going to be a real family," Maya said.
"I also have good news to tell. Think we can announce it, Maya," Josh said as Maya gave him a nod saying he can go forward.
"Me and Maya are dating," Josh said.
"Congratulations you guys," Amy said giving both Joshaya a hug.
"Welcome to the family, Maya," Alan said as Josh had his hand around Maya's waist.
"Think she was apart of the family a long time ago," Josh said.
"I actually have a present for you. Riley, can you help me quickly?" Maya asked.
"Sure," Riley said as they went aside and Riley grabbed a guitar while Maya grabbed a mic.
