Chapter 20

I tripped and stumbled through the woods. When i woke up this morning i had decided to go for a walk. I needed some time alone, to practice my abilities. I stopped in a clearing and sat down indian style. I took a deep breath then used my levitation ability. Then it was ruined by pan.

" Hello Mia" he said and i fell over with a thud. I glared at him and he chuckled" if you weren't dead, i would strangle pan" he just smirked as i stood up crossing my arms." why cant you just leave me alone"

" i have some unfinished business with your father" i sighed" and i need your help" i rolled my eyes and started walking with him right behind me. i got to the pawn shop and walked inside. My father looked up and smiled as i walked toward the desk." found out what pan wants" he sighed

"it has something to do with me" he asked and i nodded then turned and walked towards the door. He followed behind me, we walked toward the beach. I stopped looking at the water. Pan appeared nect to me and i looked at him. He nodded once.

" Alright he's here" my father looked around and i laughed" only i can see him"

" what do you want to tell me pan" my father asked out loud. Pan held out his hand to me and i raised an eyebrow" trust me" i sighed and took his hand. Flashes filled my head and i knew what he wanted, i smiled.

" he wants to tell you he's sorry, that he abandoned you when you were a child. That childish dreams and foolish nonsense got in the way of him being your father" another flash" that he loves you and knows your better father then he ever was. That even if you made the wrong decisions, when neal was born your still a greater father then he ever was." i let go of his hand" all he asks is for your forgiveness" my father didn't answer he just simply turned and walked away. I glared at his back then did the one thing i would regret for the rest of my life. I raised my hand and froze his feet to the ground.

" your not leaving, until you answer" i walked over and sat on the bench.

" do you really want to play this game, Maria. Because you wont win" he looked over his shoulder.

" you should know by now, father. I get my stubbornness from you" he chuckled as i unfroze his feet.

" we shall see" then he appeared behind me grabbing me by my throat. I pushed him off me and into the sand. I noticed Henry sitting on the dock watching and called out to my father" seems we have an audience"he smiled creating a fire ball my eyes grew wide as he threw it. I jumped out of the way throwing water at him. He disappeared and reappeared on the other side of the beach.

" playing that game are we" i laughed as i levitated off the ground chasing after him. I froze the ground where he stepped and he stopped looking up at me." your not leaving until you give him an answer" i said landing in front of him crossing my arms. " so much like your mother, maria" i smiled and hugged him.

" you don't get your courage from me, but from her. Your much stronger then you realize, not just in magic but also in true courage and stubbornness. It also scares me maria, ill be around forever, unless killed by that dagger. your the only close family besides Belle i have left. I forgave him long ago but he lost that forgiveness when he tried to kill Henry" he kissed my head" i love maria" then he pulled away and walked off.
