Chapter 9- letter of the lost

I decided that the only way to get Emma to leave me alone is to hide from her. I looked around trying to find a place to spend the night when I noticed the door in the clock tower. I opened the door to find out it was a library. I noticed Belle behind the counter book in hand with smile I started looking around. I brother always laughed at much of a bookworm I was but I didn't care. I found some of my favorites all on the same shelf. I felt someone behind me and I turned to see Gold.

" you don't look like the reading type." I just smiled

" don't judge a book by its cover" I said pulling a book dude the shelf I looked at the title and my smile just got bigger. The book was called" beauty and the beast"

"what's that supposed to be about" he asked I looked over at him laughed.

" haven't you ever read it" I asked him he just shook his head "it's one of my Favorites. It's about a beautiful young girl named Belle and a hideous beast in a castle with a bunch of talking pieces of furniture. But I don't want to spoil it, anyway the moral of the story is don't judge a person by what they look like. Judge them by there actions." I put the book back on the shelf and and walked away. I went to pick up another book when I got that feeling again.

" no I have had enough of this today" I mumbled to myself. I closed my eyes, calmed myself and pushed the vision away. It disappeared and I had to resist the urge to do a victory dance in the fiction section of the library. I heard my phone buzz in my bag so I pulled it out, what I saw made my heart stop and drop the book I was holding. It was a message from my brother. It read:

Meet me @ the dock. there is something u must know, this is not a trick if u don't believe me then tell me who else knows the name of ur favorite bear, maple that you named after mom- C

I left the book on the floor and took off running.

I ran passed Henry and Regina, who I found out was the mayor and Henry's adoptive mother. I made it to the dock in under 5 minutes. I looked around then I saw it sitting on the edge of the dock, the brown bear that was missing an eye, my bear, the bear my mother got me the day before I was born. A tear feel down my cheek. Walking over I picked it up, then I noticed the note tapped to her belly .
