"Go on a date with me." Cohen suddenly announces as his fingers lazily run up and down my spine.
"O-ok." I splutter, his words causing a bashful smile to crawl upon my cheeks.
After my phone call with Anastasia finished, I went into my bathroom to make myself more presentable, and upon exiting, I found Cohen waiting for me in my bed. It was heart racing to say the least.
"Ok, I will drop you home from school tomorrow, then you can get dressed into something nice and we will leave at seven." He hums from above me.
I have never felt so peaceful. We are currently wrapped up together in my bed, watching some movie, but my attention is lost, as I cannot believe that Cohen's arms are wrapped lovingly around me, and he is playing with my hair. The movie is mostly forgotten anyway, as we talk over it telling each other about our hopes and dreams. I never knew that Cohen is actually into writing, and likes to write dystopian or science fiction novels. He has promised to let me read some at a later date, but he was very bashful about the whole thing, which made me coo at him. He is just so cute!
"Ok, I am looking forward to it." I reveal as I shift round slightly, so that I can see his face.
"Me too angel." He murmurs back before kissing me for the sixth time in two hours, making happy tingles swarm into my stomach. "Ugh, it's going to be torture not being able to touch you or kiss you all day tomorrow." Cohen grumbles as he buries his head into the curve of my neck, referring to an earlier conversation.
We have decided to keep our relationship quiet for now, as we do not want to put too much pressure on it, and there is the added fact that everyone at school thinks we are cousins, which would make things rather awkward. I think I will tell Susanne so that she can help me get ready for tomorrow, but that is it for now. I really want to tell Torryn, but that is not possible right now.
"Well, if you're good maybe you can kiss me at the end of our date." I tease, feeling bold.
"Who says I have to wait until after?" Cohen teases with a raised brow, before pushing me down on to the bed and attacking me with a flurry of kisses all over my face and neck, causing me to giggle riotously.

Finally, Cohen and I are on our way to our date, which I still do not know anything about. He is keeping it top secret, which is quite infuriating. I felt quite paranoid at school today, sure that everyone would figure out that Cohen and I have become something more. I think the stress made me feel a little ill, as I had a bit of a tummy ache all day! Although we exchanged many secret glances with lots of hidden meaning, they managed to stay a secret and we made it through the day without causing a scandal, which would probably hit the school newspaper. Susanne acted more excited then me when I revealed to her that I am going on a date with Cohen this evening, and helped me do some makeup and get dressed up for the event. I know Cohen prefers me to look more natural, so I just went with neutral makeup and a casual outfit consisting of a short-ish denim skirt paired with an off the shoulder lace up white top. We are currently driving along the freeway (in Cohen's now repaired car - luckily he is laughing about the incident now), and no matter how much I beg he refuses to tell me where we are going. A little further into our journey, Cohen asks me to put on a blindfold, which I begrudgingly do so to humour him. I feel the car slow and pull into somewhere, before we roll to a halt and Cohen informs me that I can now take off my blindfold. With exhilaration and curiousness running through me, I reach up to pull the mask off, a grin curving onto my features as I recognise that we are at a drive in!
"Oh Cohen, seriously? I've always wanted to go to a good old fashioned drive in!" I exclaim which is true since I watched Grease with Susanne.
"I know, that's why I thought you might like this. I had a spot saved for us at the front and I've got some blankets and food in the back. Oh yeah, the film is Dirty Dancing by the way." Cohen explains, looking nervous.
"Thank you so much Cohen, this is so sweet, honestly, it couldn't be more perfect." I stress, leaning over and giving him a sweet kiss.
"Phew, I'm glad. I already have an idea for our second date though, which involves telescopes." He winks, causing me to chuckle and blush.
The films begins fifteen minutes later, and Cohen and I move to sit on the hood of his car wrapped up in blankets, and binge on junk food and each other's company. It is around half an hour into the film that I realise my tummy ache has come back at full force, and it might be more then a simple stomach problem, if you catch my drift... Yes, Mother Nature has decided to visit again, tainting the next few days of my existence. I quickly begin to panic when I realise that I do not have any feminine products with me, and not even any painkillers. Great, just great. Cohen notices me shuffling around and asks if I am ok, but I am too embarrassed to tell him what is going on. When I realise that I really cannot wait any longer without getting any female protection, I know that I will just have to tell him and hope that he will not make a big deal out of it. I feel awful and like I am ruining our first date, but when Mother Nature comes, she comes. I think I will cry if he looks at me with disgust.
"Erm... Cohen..." I start, petrified for his response.
"Yes Gwen? Are you ok?" He asks whilst absentmindedly combing his fingers through my hair.
"Well... I think... I think I have come onto m-my... you know... 'Time of the month'." I whisper with burning cheeks, hardly able to look him in the eye.
"Really? Oh Gwen, you do not need to be embarrassed around me! Do you need to go get some... stuff?" He asks considerately, and I nod in response. "Come on, let's go then." Cohen replies as he jumps into action right away, making me feel a lot better.
"Thank you Cohen... I am so sorry I am ruining our first date." I sigh miserably as we get ready to go.
"Don't be silly Gwen... just being with you is perfect. Let's go get you what you need, then we can go home and get you into bed with a hot water bottle and tablets, and if you feel up to it finish the film at home." He explains before getting into the car, melting my heart with his sensitivity and sweetness.
I know I am falling even more for him as he is so mature, understanding and kind. As he puts on his seat belt, he leans over and gives me a firm kiss on the forehead.
"Gwen, please don't ever feel embarrassed to tell me things like these. I will always look after you, and I have two sisters and a mum you know – I'm not immune to these things." He chuckles.
"Thank you Cohen. I'm so lucky to have you." I sigh blissfully as I lean onto his shoulder.
"Actually, I am the lucky one." He winks smoothly, causing my heart to flutter.
A warm feeling encompasses me when he reaches over to kiss me again, before pulling away from the drive in. Although I feel bad, the way Cohen has responded to the situation makes everything better. I really trust and merit him. I am very lucky that someone like him has taken an interest in me.
Is this what love feels like?
We are nearing the end now guys! Please vote for a quick update xx
