It's Thursday, which means there are only two days before Gwen is sadly going back to Losington. I have asked her to meet me at Roseblossom Park, which is known for its exquisite beauty and magnificent waterfall, which rolls into the sea. My mom helped me plan this date so that everything goes perfectly. After all, I am going to ask Gwen to be my girlfriend and admit that I love everything about her.

I have bought a luxury picnic hamper, and I took one of my dad's champagnes from our wine cellar to share with Gwen. After our meal, I am going to give her two presents. First a teddy that when she squeezes it there is a recording of my voice telling Gwen I love her, and also a gold promise ring with our initials carved inside. I also have a bunch of her favourite flowers, made up of white lilies and bubble-gum pink and royal blue hydrangeas mixed in between.

I am currently waiting for Gwen at the gated entrance of the park, which I requested to be closed so that Gwen and I have some privacy. We are going to be the only ones in here this afternoon. I am quite nervous about how Gwen is going to react, but I am also excited. If everything goes to plan, soon Gwen will be all mine and I cannot wait to announce that to the world. I am going to try my best to make long distance work even though I am not a fan of it, and we live in very different time zones, as we really don't have any other choice. The only other thing to do would be not to try at all, and I am certainly not going to allow that to happen.

"Got a hot date?" An annoyingly familiar voice asks from besides me.

I glance around to see my ex Raven in her workout gear, obviously on a run. I remember now she always used to run in Roseblossom Park, but I forgot about that. My smile drops as I notice her cats smile, looking me up and down whilst I barely take any notice of her. But although I don't like her because she obviously doesn't respect me, it is no longer painful to look or think of her as I have completely moved on. I don't feel anything other then contempt for her. She can do what she wants; we have been broken up for two months now.

"Yes actually. Sorry but the park has been closed for this afternoon as it says there on the sign. I'm just waiting for my girl."

"Oh I see. Well how are you?" She asks, although I keep anxiously looking around for Gwen. Where is she?

"Fine. You?" I reply shortly when a small tap reminds me she is there.

"You really don't want to talk, huh?" She guesses with her eyebrows raised.

"Sorry Raven, but no, not really. We have both moved on now and I think its best that we stay away from each other." I inform her.

"Ok Cohen, if that's what you want. She shrugs. "Hey, I am happy for you though. I know things didn't work out for us, but you look happy and I am glad you were able to move on from me." She tells me as she reaches out to touch my arm.

I fight the urge to peel her hand off.

"I'm the happiest I've ever been." I tell her with the full smile that automatically curls onto my lips whenever I think about Gwen.

I am glad when her hand slips off my arm, although I do feel a little bad when she frowns but accepts my words, as we did have a few good times together in the past. She was my first everything, but all she is now is a fading memory.

"Well I hope you have a good date Cohen, I guess I ought to go for a run somewhere else. I'll see you around ok?" She says with her soft voice before reaching up and pressing her body against mine in a tight hug.

I freeze and lock my jaw as she kisses my cheek, hovering for a few seconds before she smiles and lets go. I do not return the hug but accept it as a means of saying goodbye. My skin crawls with her touch, only wanting Gwen's, but as soon as she skips off, I feel much happier. I cannot wait for my baby to get here.

However, the longer I wait the more worried I become. The time ticks on until the road becomes a ghost town, and Gwen doesn't answer my calls. I tell myself maybe she is just taking extra long to get ready, or there is traffic, but when a whole hour goes by with no word from her, I know that something is wrong. Anxiously I pull out my phone and call Susanne, who answers after a couple of rings.

"Cohen?" She sniffles sounding really upset.

"Susanne? What's wrong, are you ok? Have you seen Gwen?" I ask frantically, wishing I had called her sooner.

"Oh Cohen... I think you'd better come home..." She sobs before the line goes dead.

Without a moment left to lose, I gather the stuff and race to my car, praying that everyone is ok.
