The captain and Kiana

Part 2 Chapter 2: How we first met

"Mom" I said "is-is that really you." She smiled at me and said "Of course I wouldn't lie about that." I went to hug her "I missed you. It's been what 20 years?" she kept hugging me "I know and I will always love you." when she stopped hugging me the captain said "When I found you. You were whispering Sirin over and over again." Mom looked sad. She then said "I took her in after the 2nd war to protect her from terrible people but some people kidnapped her. I was powerless." she started to cry. I held her shoulder "We will help you find her at all costs." At that moment Damien came in and said "Mommy who is this?" My mom looked at him then looked at me. I said to him "This is my mother Damien." I then looked at my mom and said "This is damien, my son." Cecilia smiled and said "so I'm a grandmother now."

I had some alone time with Mom and she asked some questions "How's seigfried?" I looked at her and said "We see eachother from time to time but he he lost an arm though." Mom looked shocked "Oh dear is he ok?" I smiled at her and said "He is fine now. He lost it many years ago." Theresa came in and said "Kiana are you able to come on next week" I smiled and said. "I would have to bring Damien but sure" Theresa's eyes lit up "Of course the others would love to see him."

I was on the bridge with damien when Theresa came in and said "Take the rest of the week off spend some time with your family" I looked at her and said "Are you sure?" Theresa looked at damien and said "Yes and next week Kiana is coming aboard." I smiled and said "Thank you theresa." I looked over at Damien who was playing around the railings and just smiled. Kiana then entered "Hi Kiana" I said as I went over to Kiss her. She smiled and said "Damien is coming on board next week as well as me."

We docked and asked aunt Teri "do you want to come in for some food" she smiled and said "I would love to but I have to get back to the dorms and look after Cecilia." We waved goodbye to mom and Teri as they went to the dorm. "let's feed you boys." I said to them as we got inside.

I had just put Damien to bed and went back down to see captain sitting on the couch. I sat down next to him and said "Hey, we will find that girl" he smiled and replied with "I know we will because I see it in us that we will." I smiled and Kissed him.

We landed at saint freya and I took cecilia to the dorm. I opened the door to the dorm to see Mei, Fu Hua and Himeko sitting on the couch watching the aftermath of the beast. "Hi guys" I said "I brought a guest" they looked over to see a woman. I smiled at them and said "This is Cecilia shariac. Kiana's mom." they looked at her and Mei said "you have a good daughter" Cecilia smiled and said "Thank you. I wish I was there for her though."

I was looking at Kiana sleeping and I thought "I still remember the day I met you."

Many years ago. "Mei, Bronya are you ready for to head on the hyperion?" Said Kiana holding a duffel bag. Mei smiled as she finished packing hers "Yes Kiana, just putting one last thing in my bag." Bronya was getting out of her room at the same time as Mei. The Girls headed out the door to the principal's office.

The girls were walking to the office when Mei spoke up "Kiana, I have been speaking with theresa and she said that your grades are improving. She also said you may be an A rank by the end of the year." Kiana chuckled and said "Mei as much as it pains me to say this, we both know this isn't tru-" Kiana bumped into a person and they both fell on the floor. The man got up and said "Hey, you good miss." Kiana looked up and saw the man hold out his hand, she grabbed it with a slight blush. "Thanks." She said as she dusted herself. The man then asked "Where are you girls going?" Mei looked at the man "We are going to meet a friend. What about you?" He laughed and said "I'm waiting for the Major."  "Well We are going to see her and the principle, we could say you're out here." Kiana said with a smile. The man then said "Thanks" and the girls walked off.

The girls entered the office and Mei said "Major, a man is waiting for you outside" Himeko looked wide eyed and said "That's our new captain. I gotta go show him around the hyperion cargo bay. Bye." Then she left and we all laughed after she left. Kiana then asked "Why are we meeting here?" Theresa chuckled "Kiana we need one of you three to be on bridge duty because the new captain is going to need some help on the first few days." Kiana looked at Mei and Bronya, she said "I could do it." Theresa looked directly at Kiana and said "are you sure?" Kiana smiled "Positive." She said. Theresa then looked at all three of them and said "it is settled then. Kiana will be on bridge duty."

The girls left the office and Mei said "Kiana why did you want to go on bridge duty?" Kiana looked at Mei and said "Well I want to help out, and he seems like a cool guy." Mei laughed and said "I guess you are right."

Kiana, Mei and Bronya got to the Hyperion to see Himeko and the new captain standing by the cargo bay. "Hey Himeko" Kiana called out. The two looked up to see the girls walking towards them. "Kiana, Mei, Bronya. Where is Theresa?" Himeko asked. Bronya replied with "Subject theresa is finishing up some work." Himeko had replied with "Well it's best you girls get on board, I'll wait for theresa. Kiana show where the captains cabin is." Kiana nodded "Yes mam." She said as she dragged the captain on board. Mei laughed.

"So this is your cabin" Said Kiana as she opened it up "and if you need me or anyone we will be just one floor below or one of us on the bridge." The captain looked around and said to Kiana "Thanks, Kiana." Kiana then remembered "Oh, I'll be on the bridge for the first few days. So if you need me I'll be there." The captain shot a smile "Thank you Kiana." She blushed a bit and said before leaving "Yo-you're welcome." The captain just smiled when Kiana left . "Funny girl" He said.

The captain woke up the next morning and went to the bridge. He could see Kiana facing the windows. He walked up beside her and said "So Kiana, what's with the skin tight suit?" She laughed and said "This is the white comet battlesuit. I know it looks weird but it's tough." The captain then asked "How long have you been a valkyrie." Kiana looked at him and said "About 1 to 2 years. Same as Bronya and my Crush Mei." The captain flinched when he heard that. "You like Mei?" Kiana nodded and kept looking outside "Yes, ever since I met her she has been by my side." The captain looked at Kiana "I wish you good luck with Mei then" She hugged him and said "Thanks."

Kiana entered with Mei Bronya and Himeko for a briefing. I looked at them and handed Mei a charge. "You three are to destroy a honkai battleship" I looked at the three of them When Himeko said that. They all nodded and Kiana said "Any other tasks for on board?" Himeko shook her head "no Kiana just need to destroy the ship." The three nodded and said "Understood."

Present day "Kiana I will always love you" I said before kissing her on the cheek. "Good night."
