Jughead's POV

I woke up the next morning in Betty's bed. I looked over and she was gone. I got up and walked downstairs. She was in the kitchen eating breakfast. She smiled when she saw me. "Hi Juggie." She said. I walked over to her, kissed her forehead and sat next to her. "School starts in an hour and I need to go to Veronica's this morning." She said. "Why?" I asked. "I just need to talk to her." "Well I can take you." "Thanks, but I can walk though. Besides I'm leaving in a few minutes." I sighed. "Okay."

When Betty left I started remembering everything from yesterday. About how we went from arguing about stupid shit to laying next to each other in her bed naked. I then remembered what my dad said. I got up to go home.

When I got there .y dad was sitting on the sofa. He stood almost immediately after watching me walk through the door. "Where the hell have you been?" He asked. "I was at Archie's." I told him. I've told him this lie before and he's only caught me a few times. "Your lying." He said. I sighed. "Alright fine I was at Betty's." I said. "Jughead don't do this to yourself." He said. "I know and I'm sorry. Just we both hated it. The arguing I mean. I don't think it's gonna happen again." He sighed. "I have to get to work." He said. "Okay." I said and he left.

Veronica's POV

I was waiting for Betty to get here already. "Is there somebody you waiting for?" My mom asked as I was just pacing near the door. I stopped and lokked at her. "Betty." I told her. "Oh. What for?" She asked. "I just need to ask her something so I asked her to walk to school with me." She nodded and walked off. A few seconds later there was a knock at the door. I opened it and saw Betty. "Finally your here." I said grabbing my bags and leaving with her.

"What'd you need to talk to me about?" She asked. "Just wanted to know if you've talked to Jughead yet." She looked down. "Oh no Betty you didn't?" She looked at me with a guilty face. "Betty you can't do that. Not anymore. The arguing has lasted to long." She sighed. "I know, but he came over and he apologized and so did I." I sighed in disappointment. "Okay, but if you two argue again and your relationship ends I won't be sorry." I told her.

When we got to school Betty left me by myself to go find Jughead. This girl I swear she's like addicted and to what? I went a d sat in the students lounge by myself, but Kevin was in there. "Hey Veronica how are you?" He asked. "Annoyed." I said and sat across from him. "Why?" He asked. "Betty came to the speakeasy last night and told me she and Jughead had another arguement then tells me today they made up." He sighed. "How long has this been going on?" "A couple of months like twice a week." "They both need help." "No kidding." Then class started.
