Veronica's POV
I woke up not realizing where I was for a second. When I realized I wasn't in my bedroom I got a little worried. I look around and I don't recognize this room. Just then out of the corner of my eye I saw someone. I turned my head to see who it was, but they had their back turned towards me, but I knew it was Jughead. He then turned around and didn't seem to realize I was awake. He took his shirt off and walked to the other side if the room. I shifted on the bed still pretending to be asleep. He then took his pants off and he was left in his boxer. My eyes widened as I saw him almost completely naked. He turned his head and looked at me and I quickly shut my eyes. I heard him chuckle. I slightly opened my eyes and he was dressed and was leaving the room. I let out a small sigh of relief. I quickly got up and walked out of the room. I saw Jughead sitting on the couch. "Looks who's up." He said with a smile. "Yea? When did I get here?" I asked. "Last night." He said. "Yea, i thought I told you to take me home." He sighed and stood up. "Look you were falling asleep on my motorcycle and my trailer was closer that the Pembrooke and you were tired as hell." I lightly laughed and rolled my eyes. "Yea okay." "Do you want anything to eat?" He asked. I shook my head. "No, I'm fine." "You sure?" I nodded now. "Yea I'm sure." "Okay." I watched as he went into the small kitchen and started making something. "Well I'm gonna go." I said. "Okay." Is all he said. I walked out.
I walked for about five minutes before I realized I didn't have my phone. "Shit." I mumbles and started walking back. "I don't think a girl like you should be saying words like that." I stopped and turned around and saw, Nick Saint Asshole.
(Ik its St, but that's better. And more accurate.)
"Nick? What are you doing here?" I asked. "I came to see you baby." He said with a stupid ass smile on his face. "Don't call me baby, I'm not not your baby." I said. "Ahh come on Ronnie, it's just a joke." He said. I rolled my eyes and looked away from him. "Just like that call." He finished. I quickly looked back at him. "Wait what? That was... that was you who called me and told me to watch my back?" I asked. He chuckled. "Yea, but it's okay cause it was a joke." He said. I scoffed. "So me being scared out of my mind and passing out and feeling like I'm being watched is a great joke?" I asked really annoyed. He walked closer to me. "Well I didn't know you fainted or that you were that scared." He said. I backed away. "Leave me alone." I said turning to leave. "Are you still with Archie?" He asked. I turned back and looked at him. "So what if I am?" I questioned. He shrugged. "I don't know just I don't think he's the one for you." He finished. "And why is that?" "Becayse he's in jail and he's broken out once and now he's back there, that's why." I sighed. "Look you aren't my father and you aren't my mother so please dont try and be a third parent." I said and turned and left. He didn't say anything more.
As I approached Jughead's trailer again he was standing outside with my phone in his hand. "Oh hey I was just about to come find you." He said. "Really? Why?" I asked. "Because of this." He said lifting my phone. I walke over to him and he handed it to me. "I was coming back to get before I was..." I stopped myself. "Before you were what?" Jughead asked. I shook my head. "It's nothing." I said and turned to walk off. "No, tell me who it is." I heard Jughead. I turned around and looked at him, but kept walking. "It's nothing! I said this!" Just then somebody grabbed my wrist and turned me around. When I did turn around I was face to face with Jughead. "Tell me." He said in a worried tone. I sighed. "You remember that person you mysteriously called me?" He nodded. "Yea." "Well I found out it was." "Who?" "Nick St Clair." I told him. He rolled his eyes. "Wait what?" I nodded. "Yea and not only that he's here in Riverdale now." I told him. "Oh you've got to be minding me. I don't think you should go back to the Pembrooke." He said. "What why?" "Because he can easily go there." "Okay?" "Look I know what he did or tried to do to you last time he was here." I gave him a confused look. "Uhh what do you mean? I never told you." I said. "Yea well Betty did." "She did?" "Yea." I sighed. "If you don't think I should go back to the Pembrooke where would I stay?" I asked and looking behind me to see if Nick followed me. "Here." I quickly looked back at him. "What?" I questioned. "You'd stay here." He said again. "Don't you hate me?" I asked. "Well we've been getting closer - in a friend kind of way - and you could sleep on the bed and I could sleep on the couch. Like last night." I sighed. "I know you won't take no for an answer, but I don't want to intrude on your life and make you have to sleep on the couch and--" He cut me off by covering my mouth. "Your staying here." He said and removed his hand. "Alright fine." I said. "But I don't have any clothes." I said. "We can go get some after school, but for we can get around for school." I rolled my eyes and we both smiled at each other.
