New Love

Jughead's POV

I saw Veronica and Sweet Pea kissing. Damnit! I was planning on talking to her today. Asking if she remembered anything from Saturday. It was really heated like they were both enjoying it. I didn't realize how long I was starring until the bell rang and they pulled apart. She looked happy. Like completely happy. This made me feel jealous and pissed me off. I don't think I ever made her that happy. I think she loves him more than she ever did me. I looked away from them and started walking to class. I still love her and I thought she would be the love of my life. I guess not.

The whole day went on with people talking and whispering about the new couple. People have came upto me, by people I mean Kevin, and asked if I was Okay. The truth is I'm not, but I said I was. I still really love her. Why was I such an ass to her. She was so good to me. For me! And I lost her. I can't believe I actually thought she broke up with me. It wasn't till the next day when I was being stupid and said something when she broke up with me.

Once the day was over I immediately went back to my trailer to be alone. Alone to think about my life. What am I gonna do without her in my life. She's so perfect and I'm so screwed up. I'm just dumb!

Veronica's POV

"Well... yes, I want to be your girlfriend." I smiled. He leaned down and kissed me. The bell rung in the middle of it. I pulled away smiling. "Do you want to meet up after school?" I asked. "Sure." He said. "Great!" I started walking off to class when I saw Jughead. Shit! Does he remember anything from the other day? I kind of hope he does, but I kind of hope he doesn't. It wouldn't matter, would it?

After school

I was standing outside of the school waiting for Sweet Pea when Jughead came upto me. "Hey." He said. I rolled my eyes and looked at him. "You need?" I said. "I think this is yours." He said holding up a leather Serpent jacket. I sighed. "Where was is?" I asked and slowly took it from him. "It was uhhh... at my trailer." He stuttered. My eyes widened. "Oh, um, thanks, I guess." I said. "Hey, Jones. What are you doing here?" I turned around and saw Sweet Pea. "Relax. I was just returning her Serpent Jacket." He said. "Why'd you have it?" Sweet Pea asked. I could tell he was getting kind of angry at Jughead's presence. "I just found it at my trailer." He said. "But she was wearing it just Friday night. Why'd you have it?" He asked again. "Hey, Sweets, it's alright. I remember taking it off and not remembering where I put it." I said. "But how was it at his trailer?" He asked. I shrugged. "I don't know. Let's just go." I said trying to push him away. He rolled his eyes. "Fine, but I don't want to see you talking to her again." "Fine." Jughead said and walked away. I stopped and looked at Sweet Pea. "Calm down. He wasn't saying anything to me. All he was doing was returning this. It's fine. Even if he was I can take care if myself." He sighed and relaxed his face. "I know you can, but he just hurt and I don't want him to do it again." He said. "He won't, I promise you that." I smiled at him. He pulled me into a hug. "Good. Now let's go to Pop's." He said. I nodded. "Yeah, okay."
