Veronica's POV

"What so you think everybody at school is gonna say?" I asked Jughead as we were getting ready for school. "Calm down. It's fine." He said. I sighed. "I know, it's just I'm pretty sure Betty told EVERYONE a different story about how things happened." I said. "But, half of the school was at Cheryl's party. Well, even over half." He reminded me. I nodded. "I know." "Great. Now lets get to school."

Once we did get to the school we got weird looks from some people. And people noticed us holding hands too. I hate being stared at. But there was one particular person I noticed was looking. Betty. This made my day a whole lot better. I smiled as we continued walking down the corridors and to the students lounge. Cheryl and Toni were sitting in there. "Well, hello lovebirds!" Cheryl said. I rolled my eyes while still smiling. "Well, you seem happy." Toni said. I nodded. "I am." I said. "And you? How about you?" Toni asked looking over at Jughead. "I'm fine." He said. "Well, don't just stand there sit down." Cheryl said and we sat down across from them. I noticed some people still looking. "Oh my god! Can people stop staring." I said annoyed. Toni laughed a little. "What's so funny?" Jughead asked. "Well, you two are together." She said. "So?" He asked. "So! Everybody thought you and Betty would be together and Archie and Veronica. But, we all knew that Archie and Betty would probably end up together. And nobody knew what would be happening with you two." She said. "I still don't understand." I said. She sighed and rolled her eyes. "You guys and total opposites and you hated each other before. That's why everyone is confused and are still looking at you." I sighed. "Your right." I said. "I know I am." Us three girls laughed. "Okay so you three girls keep chatting. I'll be right back." Jughead said getting up. "Wait. Where are you going?" I asked. He looked at me. "I'm just going to get something." He said. "Okay." He bent down and sat me and small kiss and walked out. "So cute!" I heard Cheryl mumbled. I looked at her. "He is pretty cute, isn't he?" "That's not what I meant!" She said. I smiled. "Okay, your right. He's not cute, he's hot." I said. "Daydreamer." Toni said. "Excuse me!?" I asked looked at her. "Oh nothing!" We all laughed.

After a few.minutes Jughead hadn't came back. The bell rang. "Hmm wonder where Jughead's at." Toni said. "I don't know." I said. "Well don't you have first period with him, Veronica?" Cheryl asked. I nodded. "Yea, I'm going to see if he's there." I told them and left the students lounge.

When I walked into class he was there sitting at a table. I walked over to him. "Jug?" I asked. He didn't look at me or say anything. He looked like he was to deep in thought. "Juggie?!" I said a little louder. Still didn't look at me. It's like he's ignoring me. "Jughead?!" I laughed a little. He finally looked at me. "Oh." He finally said. "Are you okay?" I asked. "Uhh yea. Sorry I was just thinking." He said. "About what?" I aksed. Then the bell rung again. "We'll talk later."

Jughead's POV

I walked out of the students lounge to fo to the blue and gold to grab a few things. "Hello Juggie!" I sighed and rolled my eyes. "What do you want, Betty?" I asked turning back at the door. She shut the door. "I just wanted to stop by and say hi." "Okay, you said it now leave." I said turning away from her again. "But, Juggie I wanna talk." I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Well, I guess I'm listening." "Well, I need you to look at me, Juggie!" I sighed and looked at her. "What?" She was walking closer to me, smiling. "I just wanted see how you were doing." "I'm doing fine, thanks for asking." I said. "Now if you'll excuse me I need to go." I told her walking towards the door. "No, Juggie, stay!" She said grabbing my arm. I looked at her. "No, I have to go." "Go where? Back to Veronica?" She asked. "Uhh yea." "Come on, Jugg--" I cut her off. "Do not call me Juggie again." "Oh please. We both know you don't like Veronica. Besides, she's a bitch and a psycho." "Don't talk about her like that. And yes I do like Veronica. In fact I love her." "I bet you haven't told her that." I sighed. "No, not... not yet." I said quietly. "See. We are way passed that!" She said wrapping her arms around my neck. "Yeah, because we just got together and we were together for a while before we said it." I said pushing her away from me. "You know, I remember her saying it to you. At Cheryl's party when I said that she did like you. She said no, I love him." I sighed. "You never said it back!" "Well, I just said I never sai I love you." "It's because you still love me, isn't it?" I rolled my eyes. "No!" She smiled. "Come on, you still love me." "Look I have to go." I said turning away, but she pulled me back at kissed me. It was a few seconds before I pulled away. I was completely frozen. "Why'd you pull away?" She asked. I didn't say anything. "Juggie?! I know you still love me. Why'd you pulled away?" She asked again, putting her arms around my neck and pulled our bodies closer. Please don't let Veronica see this. I pushed her away. "Because I don't love you anymore!" I said, leaving the room.

I couldn't face Veronica after this so I just went to class. When Veronica came into class she walked over to me, but I'm to busy wondering how im gonna a tell or is Betty gonna tell another twisted tale. She said my name three times before I answered. I finally looked at me. "Oh." I finally said. "Are you okay?" She asked. "Uhh yea. Sorry I was just thinking." I said. "About what?" She aksed. Then the bell rung again. "We'll talk later." I told her and she sat next to me.
