Together Again

Veronica's POV

Jug and I fell asleep cuddling on the couch. We were just talking about dumb stuff and fell asleep.

When I woke up, I woke up in the bed. "How did I get here?" I mumbled to myself. "I carried you here." I heard Jughead say. I smiled and looked at him. He was getting dressed and had his shirt off. "How?" I said getting up and walked over to him. "Hey, you may be pregnant, but your not pregnant yet." He said. I smiled and rolled my eyes. "Thank you?" I said in more of a question. I looked down and my smile went away. "Hey." He said and lifted my chin. "Don't look so sad. I love you." I smiled. "I love you, too." I whispered and he kissed my forehead. "I'm just so scared." "Of what, princess?" He asked. I sighed. "What if Sweet Pea told everyone at school that I'm pregnant?" I asked. "I'll beat his ass." I laughed a little and rolled my eyes. "Your not the fighting type, Jug. You'll never be able to do that." I told him. "True, but I would at least try." I laughed. "Your an idiot." I said. "But I'm your idiot." I rolled my eyes and he kissed me.

We walked into school hand in hand and some people looked at us, some didn't care. "I'll see you after school." He said. "See ya." I said and he kissed me then walked off. I smiled and walked to my locker. "Are you two a thing again?" I heard Betty's voice ask. I looked over at her and rolled my eyes. "What do you want, Betty?" I asked. "Are you and Juggie together again?" She asked. "Yes, we are. Now if you've got a problem with it don't try to take it on us." I said. She rolled her eyes. "Jughead will be mine again. You can trust me on that?" I laughed. "What are you gonna do, Nancy Drew? Go all dark on me? Try me." I said and walked off.

I walked into the students lounge to find Cheryl and Toni sitting there. "Hey, girls!" I said and sat with them. "Where'd you go last night?" Cheryl asked. "I had to tell Jughead." I said. "Finally!" Toni said. "Did you stay with him last night?" I nodded. "Yes, and were back together." I told him. "Wait you are!" Cheryl said standing up excitedly. I smiled and nodded. "Yep! Told me he never stopped loving me, and I said it back." I said. "Awe!" Toni said. I rolled my eyes. "Stop it guys." I said. Then, a very panicked Kevin came running into the students lounge. "Girls, come quick." He said. I quick stood up and so did Toni and Cheryl who sat back down a couple minutes ago. "Why? What is it?" Toni asked. "It's Jughead." He said. A wave of worry came over me. I quickly ran passed Kevin and into the hallway to find Sweet Pea beating the shit out of Jughead. "Oh, my God. Get off of him!" I yelled. He stopped punching him and looked up at me. "Well, well, well, if it isn't the girl who cheated on me!" He said getting off of Jughead. His nose and mouth was bleeding and he looked half conscious. Sweet Pea started walking over to me. Now a little wave of fear came over me. "I didn't cheat on you. I was drunk and this was before we got together." I said quietly. People were crowding around us. He chuckled. "Besides, you broke up with me." I said and he slapped me. I gasped and put my hand to my face. Then, he got tackled from behind by Jughead. But again Jughead started to get his ass beat. "JUGHEAD!" I yelled and started to cry.

Next thing I know Jughead, Sweet Pea and I were sitting in the nurses office waiting for the principal. "Are you sure your okay?" Jughead asks me again for the millionth time. "I'm fine, Jug. It's just a slight bruise." I told him.  "It's looks bad." He said. "It's fine. What really looks bad is you. How did that happen?" I asked. "Look I don't want to talk about this now. We can meet at Pop's after school or something." He said. I nodded. "Now go back to class, please." "No, Jug, I'm gonna--" "go, please. I'll be fine." Then the principal called him into the principal's office and I went to class.

Once school was I out I was waiting for Jughead I got a text from him.

J: Got suspended I'll meet you at Cheryl's to pick you up❤

V: Okay

J: Thanks, princess. Love you

I smiled.

V: Love you too

I got back to the house and Cheryl and Toni were leaving. "Hey we're leaving for a bit. We'll be back later." Toni said. I nodded. "Okay, I might not be here when you get back. Jughead and I are going to meet at Pop's later." I told them. "Okay." Cheryl said.

I sat in my room when I got a call from an unknown number.

Unknown

"Where's your baby daddy?"

"Who is this?"

"You should keep better watch of him. You don't know what kind of... trouble he could get into"

"Who are you? What are you trying to do?" Then they hung up. Leaving me scared and nervous.

About an hour later Jughead hadn't came yet so I texted him.

V: Are you still coming?

I waited a good five minutes. No answer.

V: Did you forget about me?

I giggled to myself thinking he had actually forgot about me.

There was still no answer ten minutes later.

V: Jughead? Are you okay?

I sent that then immediately got a call from Jughead's phone.

"Jug? Are you Okay? You haven't answered any of my messages. Where are you?" I asked.

"Not Jughead." It was Kevin.

"Kevin? Why do you have Jughead's phone?"

"Get to the hospital. Now! I'll explain when you get here." He said and hung up. He sounded worried. I quickly drove to the hospital. When I got there Kevin immediately found me. "Kevin what happened?" I asked. "It's  Jughead."
