!!SHORT CHAPTER!!

Veronica's POV

I quickly followed Jughead out of the whyte wyrm. "Jughead!" I yelled. He didn't turn back. "Jughead!" I said again and grabbed his arm. He turned around and immediately kissed me. At first I was shocked, but then I just kissed back knowing I'm with Archie. It was maybe a minute or two later before we stopped. We just looked in each others eyes. "Jughead?" I whispered, confused out of my mind. "I like you, Veronica." He said softly. I was quiet for a second. "I... I think I like you." I said. He sighed. "That's not good enough, Veronica." He said taking a few steps back. "What?" I asked. "I can't go on knowing you think you like me. I wanna know is it a yes or a no?" He asked. I shrugged. "I don't know." I said again. "What do you mean you don't know? It's a yes or no question." He said. I sighed. "Jughead, I'm with Archie and you know this. I know if you like me you probably don't care but--" He cut me off. "Of course I care. I don't treat feel like losing my best friend because I like his girlfriend, but right now I don't care." He said. I looked at the ground tearing up. I looked back up at him. "Oh don't start crying now." He said. I blinked a few times so I wouldn't cry. "I'm not gonna cry, because I'm not a baby." I said with an attitude. He sighed. "I have to go. We still have the Serpent meeting." He said and walked back into the Whyte Wyrm.

I walked back over to Cheryl and Toni. Toni gave me a concerned look as my eyes were still a bit watery. "Veronica what's wrong?" Toni asked. "Nothing." I quickly said. "No, somethings wrong what is it?" Cheryl asked. "Out of all people you don't know." I said looking at her. She looked taken aback. "What do you mean?" She asked. I rolled my eyes. "Don't be stupid." I said. "Wait what happened?" Toni asked. I looked at Toni. "She decided to go on about me liking Jughead and when I said something he was standing right there maybe ruining the friendship we were creating." I said almost crying again. "Cheryl, I told you to drop it." Toni said. She sounded like she was mad at Cheryl. I sighed. "Hey if anything it's also my fault." I said. "Well I told her to cool it and She didn't." Toni said. "It's fine, Toni." I said. "Okay. So are you wanting to do the dance tonight or..." She asked. "No, not tonight. It's not a good night anymore. I think I'll talk to Jughead before I do though." I said. "Okay you do you." Toni said. Then the Serpent meeting began. I didn't listen because I don't need to.

When it was over Jughead found me almost immediately. "Hey you ready to go?" He asked annoyed. I sighed and nodded. "Yea okay." I said. "Great let's go."

As we were walking outside he kept muttering things. "Is everything okay?" I asked looking up at him. "What?" He asked not looking at me at all, not even a glace. "Well you kept muttering things." I said. "I was wondering if everything was alright?" I added. "Yea everything was fine if you don't count the fact that you won't tell me if you like me or not." He said annoyed. "Okay if we are really going back to this I'm not going to have it." I said. "Well I can't live with it like I've said before." He said. "You know if you can't live with the fact that you can't get a full answer from me maybe I'll go back to the Pembrooke." I said. "You can't do that." He said worriedly now. "And now your worried." I said. "Well I'm sorry I care too." I rolled my eyes. "You know what I'm done." He started walking away again. "Oh Jughead." I said turning him around again, kissing him. He kissed me back. I pulled away. "Let's go." I said. "Are you sure?" He asked. "Yes." I said.
