Jughead's POV

I was in the blue and gold when Betty came in. "Hey Jug." She said with a smile. "Hey Betts." I replied. "Hey I need to tell you something." She said. I looked up at her. "I'm listening. What is it?" I asked. She sighed and sat next to me. "I told Veronica about our fight yesterday and then today I told her we made up and she thinks this had been happening for to long that we should just give up already." I sighed. "My dad said the same thing and--" But she cut me off. "I think they're right..." she started tearing up a bit. "Wha...what?" I asked. "I agree. We always fight and then go to Pop's for a milkshake or what happened last night or something. I just don't think I'll be able to do anymore. I'm sorry." She let a tear fall down her face. She then got up and started walking towards the door. "Because of what others think?" I asked. She turned back and looked at me. "What?" She asked. "You just said this is because of what Veronica thought. Why would you take relationship advice from someone whose boyfriend's in prison?" "Hey that's my bestfriend your talking about right there!" She said getting all defensive. "Okay? So? She hasn't had a proper relationship since he went to jail about a month ago." She started tearing up again. "This is exactly what I'm talking about!" She yelled. "What?!" I yelled back. "This the arguing! Veronica's right." I scoffed. "Of course! Always have to go with what Veronica says." "I'm done!" She yelled. "No we need to talk!" I said. Then the door opened. "What the hell is going on in here?" It was Veronica. "Oh right we were just talking about you. Why don't you mind your own business, Veronica?" I said. She glared at me and looked at the upset Betty. "Come on B. Let's go. He isn't worth it." Veronica said walking Betty out of the room. I watched as they walked down the hallway and around the corner. I sat down and sighed. "The hell did I do?" I muttered to myself.

Veronica's POV

I heard my name from a room not to from my locker and immediately recognized the voices. Betty and Jughead. Are they seriously having an argument in school?

I walked to the blue and gold room and like I said, Betty and Jughead. "What the hell is going on in here?" I asked. "Oh right we were just talking about you. Why don't you mind your own business, Veronica." Jughead said. I glared at him then looked at Betty who was upset. "Come on B. Let's go. He isn't worth it." I said and we left. She stopped walking. I lokked back at her. "Hey are you okay?" I asked. "I don't think I can stay here much longer." She said. "What do you mean?" "I think I need to skip the rest of the day." I nodded. "Okay I'll take you home." She shook her head. "No. You should stay here. I can go home rest and take care of myself. I'm fine." "Okay." I said. She walked off and left the school.

I walked back to the blue and gold's room and Jughead was still there. I shut the door as I walked in. "What the hell?" I said. He looked at me and he was pissed. "What?" He asked annoyed. "Why were you two arguing again?" I asked. He sighed. "She was breaking up with me and it's your fault." He said. I scoffed. "My fault?! How is it my fault?" I asked. "You told Betty that she should give up on our relationship." I rolled my eyes. "No I told her it is isntworth saving, but she wants to keep trying she can." "That's the same thing!" He said. "No it's-- Well yea it is." I said agreeing with him. Just then my phone rang. "Stay here." I said answering my phone. "Can't go a lot of places with you blocking the door." I heard him mumble. I picked up a few pens and threw them at him.

"Hello?" I said.

"Watch where your going." A person said and hung up.

I lowered my phone with a scared, but confused look. "Who was it?" Jughead asked. "I don't know."
