Jughead's POV

Veronica and I were cuddled up to each other. She had fallen asleep quite a while ago and I just held her close to me. I guess I expected that this would keep her protected. I sighed dissapointedly when I heard a knock at the door. I carefully climbed out of the bed trying not to wake Veronica. I put on a shirt and jeans and walked out and opened the front door. I rolled my eyes.

"What do you want, Betty?" I asked. She had on a slightly worried face.

"You weren't at school today, Juggie. I was worried." She said. Oh my god! Are we starting this again.

"Yeah, Veronica and I stayed home because of you and Sweet Pea." I told her.

"What do you mean because of me and Sweet Pea? We did nothing wrong. Besides, I don't talk or like that Serpent scum." She said. I scoffed.

"Says the one who's fucking him." I muttered. She looked offended.

"And am not having sex with that animal. Like I said, I don't like him at all. You are the only one for me, Juggie." She said.

"Will you stop calling me that?" I asked annoyed.

"Hey, Jug, what's going on? Whose here?" I turned around to see a half awake Veronica. I sighed.

"It's nothing, nobodies here. Go back to bed and I'll be there in a minute." She walked over to the door and rolled her eyes.

"Fucking hell, Betty! Why are you here?" She asked. I know this'll not end well.

"I wants to see, Jughead. Is that to hard to ask? I mean, all I wanna do is come say hello and make our goodbyes very slow." She walked over to me and pressed her body into mine and started to run her hand up my shirt. I pushed her away.

"You can leave now." I said.

"Now why would I do that?" She asked.

"Maybe because you are not welcome here." Veronica said. Betty looked taken aback and shocked. I smiled.

"And who says I'm not welcome here?" Betty asked.

"Me." Veronica said. "You can leave now you filthy whore." She said slamming the door in Betty's face. She turned back to look at me.

"That's my girl." I said. She smiled and wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Was that wrong?" She asked. I shook my head.

"Not at all. She deserves it. She never treated you nicely so why should you treat her nicely." I told her.

"Well, she only started hating me because I started dating you and she seems to be obsessed with you." I rolled my eyes.

"Oh, please! She can be as obsessed with me all she wants to. I already have everything I need." I told her. She smiled again.

"And what is that?" She asked. I chuckled.

"I have a wonderful, amazing and beautiful girlfriend. Who is also carrying our baby." I said. She smiled even more and giggled a little.

"Stop it!" She said.

"Why would I do that?" I asked. She looked down. "Hey, look at me." I said and looked up at me.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you, too." She said back. I leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips.

"Now, let's go lay back down in bed." I said. She shook her head.

"No, I wanna go to Pop's. Then, when schools over I wanna go see Cheryl and Toni. I wanna talk with them about something." She said. "Can we?" I nodded.

"Of course, Princess." I said. She leaned up and kissed my cheek.

"I'm just gonna go get better clothes on and we can go." She said. I nodded and she walked back to the room. I sat on the sofa and started thinking. I started thinking about how much I love Veronica. Yes, we've had our ups and downs. Our biggest down was our breakup with tore me apart. I couldn't believe that it actually happened. I just kept on hoping it was a dream. I don't really need to be thinking about this. And never again. Because I got my girl and that's all I need. My girl and to love me girl.

Veronica walked back in the small living room with a huge smile in her face.

"What are you so happy about?" I asked. She shrugged.

"I don't know. I was just thinking about us, and everything we've been through. And then, just how everything ended up. It just amazes me how far we've come as a couple." She says, her smile grows impossibly bigger; which brings a smile to my face. I stood up and smiled down at her.

"We are the best power couple ever." I told her. She laughed.

"You're so cringy." She said.

"I'm only cringy for you." I told her.

"You're such an idiot!" She giggles.

"I'm your idiot." I remined her.

"Are we gonna have this conversation again?" She asked. I shrugged.

"Maybe. Do you wanna have this conversation again?" I asked.

"No," she rolled her eyes. "Let's go to Pop's now." She said.

"Okay, let's go." I said and we left to go to Pop's.
