Jughead's POV

Veronica had just gonna a call that lasted like three seconds and had no idea who it was. "What do you mean you don't know who it was." I asked. "There was no caller ID and they never said who they were." "Well what did they say?" "They said 'watch were your going' then hung up." She sounded scared. I didn't say anything. Then the bell rang. "Okay we better go." She said leaving the room. Who could possibly want to threaten Veronica like that?

Veronica's POV

I'm scared and worried for my own safety. I'm on my way home by myself and I feel like someone is going to pop out of nowhere. Who was tell me to watch where I'm going? It could be some idiot or-- "Mija, your finally home." One of my father's spys or something. "Hi mom." I said as I walked inside the Pembrooke. "You seem upset, what is it?" She asked. "Nothing just have lot's of homework to do." I lied. "Okay."

Instead of doing the homework I actually had I just layed in bed.

Then there was a knock at my door. "Come in." I said. The door opened and I saw my father. "Veronica." He said. "Daddy? Wait I thought you went to New York for another week?" I asked. "I was, but then I got a call." He told me. "A call about what?" I asked. "Archie has broken out if prison." "Wait what?" "Yea and I can't help, but wonder if you had any part in that. Did you?" "What no!? Of course not." I said. "Where is Archie now?" I added. "Don't know there is a search party looking for him." He said and left my room. Then my phone buzzed behind me. I was hesitant to look at it, but when I did I saw it was Betty.

"Hey."

"Hey. I need you to come to Dilton's bunker."

"What why?"

"I sorta broke Archie out of prison and now he's here."

"Oh uhh I'm on my way." I said and hung up.

I started walking to the door when my father stopped me. "Where are you going?" He asked. "To Betty's." I told him. "Why?" "Cause I would like to comfort my friend who just broke up with her boyfriend." He nodded. "Okay. Don't be out to long." "Got it!" I said walking out the door.

When I got to the bunker Jughead was already there. I looked over and saw Archie. "Oh my god!" I said going over to Archie, hugging him. "Hey Ronnie." He said. "How are you? Are you Okay?" I asked. "I'm fine." He said. I looked back at Betty. "How did you do this?" She smiled. "I got some help from the Serpents." She said. "Yea without my permission." Jughead said. She looked at him and rolled her eyes. "I don't need your permission." She said definitely. They started having their own little arguement. "Hey are they okay?" Archie asked me. I looked at him. "You know those little arguements they had every once in a while?" "Yea." "Well they kept being more offen and now they are broken up." "Who broke up with who?" He asked. "Betty broke up with him and I guess they are still arguing about nothing." He laughed a little. "And when did this happened?" He asked. "Today. I told it's not really worth trying to save a relationship that's already dead." "What?" "Well I said that she shouldn't try and kept it going cause all they did was argue." "That's not your decision to make." I nodded. "I know. I know. I told her it's her choice though." Why is he being like this? He sighed. "I'm sorry. I'm still trying to process everything from going to jail to escaping. I'm sorry." He said. "LOOK I just-- can you shut up please and let me speak?" I heard Jughead yell. I walked over to them. "What the hell is happening?" I asked. They both just looked at me, but said nothing. "Well?" I asked. "Nevermind. I'm leaving." Jughead said glaring at Betty. "Don't think I didn't see what you guys were doing earlier." He said and climbed out of the bunker. I looked at the other two. "What was that about?" I asked.

B: I don't know...
A: Nothing...

They said simultaneously. "Okay? Well I better go. Betty, keep an eye on this one." She nodded. "Yea. I think I'll stay here tonight just to keep an eye on him and so you don't have to worry." I nodded and smiled. "Good." I said and climbed out.

As I got out I saw Jughead just standing out the bunker. "Jughead?" He looked at me. "I thought you left?" I asked. He sighed. "Well really I just needed fresh air." I nodded. "I know what you mean." I said. We started walking away from the bunker. "Do you need a ride home?" He asked. "No, I'm good." It was silent. "Hey what were you talking about earlier?" I asked. "What do you mean?" He asked. "What you said don't think I didn't see what you were doing." "Oh." "Yea what was that about?" He sighed. "When I went down there after Betty texted me I saw them making out." "Wait... what?" I asked. "Yea. I don't know. It could've been just my eyes messing me." I sighed and looked at the ground. "I don't think it was your eyes were messing with you." I told him. "What do you mean?" He asked. "Well Betty is staying down there with him and... I don't want to think about anything right." I told him. "Me neither." It was silent.

We finally got to a place where we had to go our seperate way. "Hey are you sure you want to walk home alone?" He asked. "I mean I'm fine, but if you feel like you should you can." He chuckled. "I mean if your fine I guess your fine." I laughed and playfully punched him in the arm. "Shut up." He laughed to. "Well I got to go." I said. "Okay." He said, but I didn't move. We just looked at each other. He took a couple steps closer to me and waved his hand in my face. I shook my head. "What? Sorry?" I asked. He chuckled. "Don't you need to get going?" He asked. I nodded. "What? Oh yea. I do I just..." I stopped. "You just what?" He asked. I looked at the ground. He lifted my head up. "You just what?" He asked again. Before I could stop myself I kissed him. He was kissing me back. He pushed me up against a tree. I started to take his serpent jacket off and threw it to the ground. I took off his shirt and he took mine off to. I kissed him again.

****************

I shot up from my bed. "Did I fall asleep?" I muttered to myself. I looked around the room. I noticed as I looked out of the window it was dark. I got up and opened the curtains. I grabbed my phone and it was eleven. Did I really sleep from four to eleven. I must have been tired as hell. I sighed and out my phone back down. I climbed back into bed and covered up.
