Veronica's POV

I woke up in Jughead's arm. I was finally put of my little haze I was in. The confusion and the heartbreak it was just.. to much for me to handle. I just had to shut out all emotions for a while. I'm guessing a day was enough. I just layed still, not wanting to  be out of his reach. He promised me last night that he wouldn't leave. That would stay with me. Forever. I never want to lose him. I almost did once. I don't want that to happen again. That was to painful. His hand slowly started to move up and down my arm.

"What are you thinking about?" He asked. I just shrugged and shook my head.

"Just us, I guess." I told him. I sighed. "Shouldn't you be getting to school?"

"No, it's fine. I just want to be with you. I know that. Like I promised last night. I'm never leaving you." He said. I smiled.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you, too." He said.

"What about Cheryl and Toni? Were they ever here?" I asked.

"Yes, they were. So was Kevin." He said. I sighed and nodded.

"Yeah, I saw him. What was he doing here?" I asked.

"He was worried about you. He apologized to me yesterday morning. He felt so bad about what he said and whag he did. When he saw that Betty and Sweet Pea were a thing he felt horrible." He said.

"Did you forgive him?" I asked.

"Yes, I did. He asked about what you would say. I told him you'd come around." He said.

"You don't know that." I said.

"What?" He asked.

"I'm kidding. Of course I'll forgive him. I mean, who can live a life without Kevin. He's the best." I said. He chuckled. Then the door opened with the doctor walking in. Jughead quickly got up and off the bed.

"I'm just coming in to ask a few questions." He said. I nodded. "Have you felt any pain lately?" I shook my head.

"No. Umm, when do I get out?" I asked.

"Well," he looked down at a the small tablet in his hands. "Veronica Lodge, right?" He asked. I nodded.

"Yes." I said.

"Well, everything looks good. You can go now." He said.

"Please." I said. He just smiled at us.

"Okay, I'll be right back with the discharge papers." He said. I nodded and he left. I looked at Jughead.

"I'm finally leaving!" I said. He chuckled.

"Yup!" I just smiled at him. "So, do you as t to come to school today?" He asked. I shrugged.

"I don't know. I didn't really think about it." I told him. He nodded. The doctor came back.

We were walking out of the hospital and he had his arm wrapped around me.

"I don't think I want to go to school today." I said. He looked at me.

"You sure?" He said and I nodded.

"Yes, I don't want to go back to all that stress. I just want this day off. I'm out if the hospital and I just want to stay out of school an extra day. Please?" I said. He smiled.

"Of course!" He said. "Anything for you, princess." I smiled.

"Let's go to Pop's please." I said.

"Of course." He said and we went to Pop's. When we were finished, we went back to the trailer.

"Home sweet home." I said. He chuckled.

"You see this as home?" He asked. I looked at him.

"Your home." I said. He smiled and kissed my forehead. I just smiled.

"Just letting you know, Cheryl and Toni might be over here later." He said. I nodded.

"Of course they will be. But what tells you that?" I asked.

"They've been texting me all morning." I just laughed a little.

We were just sitting on the couch, and cuddled up by four. It had been quiet most of the day. I think he's scared to talk to me. I think he's scared he'll mess up and say the wrong thing. But I can also tell he's worried about me. Yeah, I'm upset about the baby and everything, but I don't need him to be scared to talk to me.

"Jug--" I was cut off by a knock at the door. I sighed. "I'll get it." I said and got up. I opened the door and got a little bit of a shock. Why is he's here?!
