Chapter 5

Hea PV

Returned to the estate, I was immediately informed that the Countess was looking for me.
So I go straight to the library, where they told me she is.

But as soon as I enter, I see Wooyoung  from behind searching through book shelves.

"Hea wait"
I hear him say when I'm about to leave.
"Please enter"
He tells me, and the mere fact that he knows my name makes my heart speed up.

"Sorry if I disturbed, I was looking for your mother."
I tell him, finding a minimum of voice.

"My mother was tired, she went to rest."
At that moment a maid enters with a tray with a cup of tea.

"Bring a cup for the lady too"
"Me?!"
Both, me and the waitress, look at him with shock after he called me lady.

"Don't like tea? Do you prefer something else?"
"Ah no, tea is fine"
I answer, and the maid leaves with a bow, but not before giving me a glance.

When we are alone again, the Earl beckons me to sit down.

He starts to say walking around the room.

I have no words to describe what I see; A beautiful white dress with golden embroideries.

"I hope you like it"
"Countess is too much. Why?"
I can't believe she's giving me a dress like this; only noblewomen can afford similar fabrics.

"For the return of my son I organized a ball tomorrow night;
And my lady companion must be beautiful."
"A ball?"
I've never been to one, at the palace has never been organized since I arrived; although I know that when the Earl's father was alive the palace was always celebrating.
"Thank you very much"
I can't wait for tomorrow, I'm incredibly excited.
