Chapter 38

Finally I see the majestic contours of the estate in the distance.

I continue to advance on horseback, already enjoying the moment when my Hea will run in my arms after so long.

Once past the great gate, I find myself among gardens, and I hear an unmistakable laugh for me.

"Come and catch me if you can!"
The female voice exclaims in a playful tone.
"Come here Hea !!"
I turn around, seeing to whom the male voice belongs.

That damned stableman, Seonghwa, is hugging my woman.

I try to get off my horse, but I feel like I'm tied..

I begin to call her, using all my voice, but although they are not far away, they do not seem to notice my presence.

I keep trying to get rid of invisible ropes, until I see Seonghwa getting closer to Hea more and more, until he reaches her lips...

"Stay away from her!!"
I open my eyes suddenly, realizing that I'm still in my official tent.

I get up still stunned by that nightmare, which unfortunately will be a reality very soon ... and yet there is still a part of me that hopes that she won't marry him.

I go out to get some air, in our camp in the middle of the woods;
and breathe deeply, enjoying the beauty of the stars of the night.

A shot echoes in the silence of the night.

The soldier chosen on guard for the night collapses on the ground a few steps away from me.

The shots intensify and the masked men enter the tents in search of a hand-to-hand combat.

I enter his tent, seeing the exact moment when he passes a masked man with his sword.

I keep fighting beside the Prince, but these bastards seem to have no end, if you kill one, two of them appear.

I am engaged in sword fighting, when I notice a man hiding in the trees;
I look quickly in the chaos that surrounds me, and I see that he's pointing to the prince with a gun.

Before I can reflect, I start running towards the prince, not far from me.

I grabbed him by the shoulders and threw him to the ground, shielding him with my body in the direction of the trees.

Then I feel it..The flames flare up in my back, and a blinding pain that leads me to darkness.
