Hea PV
I didn't think I would ever suffer so much.
But to see the countess's coffin being buried ...is a feeling that I can't even describe to myself.Firmly held on Wooyoung's arm all the time, despite the glances I received from the other nobles present at the funeral, I managed to keep control and not collapse.
Although I feel more tired every day, and in the mornings i have always a strong nausea.
I think my distress is due to all the stress, so I avoid talking about how I feel, especially with Wooyoung.
I see that he is in pain, he has lost his mother, a special woman, from whom he has been away for so many years.
So I don't want to add to him worries about my own stupid fatigue. After an endless row of people give Wooyoung condolences, we can finally move away, and we decide to return to the estate walking.
"Hea, I was thinking of going to the priest tomorrow to ask him if he has a date available to get married"
Wooyoung tells me, he still hadn't spoken since this morning.
"Don't you think it's too early?"
I say, continuing to hold onto his arm as we walk through the dusty country roads.
"I just want to find stability ..My mother's last words blessed our love, I'm sure she would be happy for us."
I was in the doorway when I heard Lady Jung's words, and I remember well that when I saw Wooyoung collapse on her, I could no longer hold back the tears.
"All right"
It's all I can say, feeling my legs suddenly weak.
"Hea!"
Wooyoung moves his arm behind my back, and I realize that he is keeping me upright.
"What happens?!"
His tone is worried, and so am I, but I try not to show it.
"I think it's just the day that tired me"
With his eyes he looks for mine, as if he were digging for the answers i choose not to tell him.Suddenly he lifts me up, and sits me on a stone, away from the edge of the road.
"Don't lie to me Hea, how long have you been sick?"
He kneels in front of me, and grabs my face in his hands, forcing me to look into his eyes.
"Maybe a week"
I answer in a faint voice, ashamed for not having spoken to him.
"And when were you going to tell me ?!"
His is a reproach, but his eyes remain sweet in mine.
"You already had your thoughts-"
"As soon as we return, we have the doctor come to visit you"
He doesn't even listen to me, he takes me in his arms, although I tell him that I have recovered and can walk alone, and return to the estate."Gosh! What happened?"
Hyunae says, seeing Wooyoung take me to my room.
"I think she was going to faint. Stay with her, I'm going to call the doctor"
Wooyoung replies in a hurry and disappears from my room.Hyunae looks at me suspiciously and approaches my bed.
"What do you feel? Just to faint?"
"No, the rarer one ... I often feel sick and I feel tired"
I see that she is thoughtful, but almost hesitant to keep talking.
"I don't want to be intrusive but ... with the Earl ... do you have..?"
I remain blocked for a moment by her question, but I nod shyly.
"Then this time you don't need a doctor"
She caresses my cheek, just like a mother would, and I immediately understand that what I have is not a disease ...________________
