Chapter 12

Wooyoung PV

"How did you dare lie to me?!"
I say entering my mother's room, without knocking.
"What are you talking about?"
She asks me, with a confused look, placing her book in the bed where she is lying.
"About Hea, she is a servant!"
"It is no secret to anyone my dear"
She responds with tranquility.
"Do I have to remind you that I haven't lived here for years? How should I understand that? All you do is praise and treat her like a daughter!! Thank goodness I discovered it before I humiliated myself.."
I say, walking nervously in the room, thinking of the fact that I was seriously thinking of asking her to marry me.
"I praise her because she deserves it Wooyoung! She is beautiful, intelligent and kind; I really care about that girl."
"All she did was mock me! And she will pay for it."
I say angrily, leaving my mother's room, while I still hear her calling me.

Hea PV

I'm in the library, waiting for the countess to wake up.
It's very early, but I haven't slept, continuing to think back to everything that happened last night :
Kiki, Seonghwa's proposal and Wooyoung's reaction when I told him I was a servant, I still see his hateful look towards me.
I'm putting up books on the shelves to pass the time,when two hands suddenly position themselves on the sides of my head,
"Finally I find you doing what a servant should do"
His breath is hot on my bare neck, and my pulse starts to accelerate.
"I always do what I have to..Sir"
I answer, and try to back away, but he presses his body against mine and locks me against the bookcase.
"That's right Hea, all you have to do is obey"
He says slowly, and I feel his hand press on my hip.
"No! I'm not that kind of servant!"
I turn around suddenly, finally pulling Wooyoung back.
"All the maids are, my dear"
He replies, looking lustfully into my eyes.
I still can't believe that he is like everyone else; as soon as he discovered that I am not noble his kindness towards me is completely gone.
"Not me"
I say, and he smiles with satisfaction.
"You'll do exactly what I want.. and you will like it"
He says a few inches from my face; then leaves, leaving me alone, and terrified by his words.
