"Good heavens I lost again"
Duke Yunho exclaims, exhausted after the third card game lost in a row.

After my mother and the duchess went to rest, the men, left alone, present at the dinner decided to spend time with the cards.

"Thank that I am your friend and i do not demand money"
Baron Mingi replies in amusement, making my cousin laugh too, whom I see dark since he met Duchess Yeeun ..Something tells me he's not so happy with his parents' choice.

"Gentlemen, I retire to my rooms"
I say, getting up from the card table.
"Goodnight cousin"
Yeosang is the first to greet me, followed by the others.

Before reaching my room, my eyes fall on Hea's bedroom door.
I stop and look at it, thinking if I should stay with her or leave her alone tonight.

I give up the idea and continue to my room, in the hope that she is feeling better.

"It took you so long"
A female voice says, as soon as I open the door of my dark room.
I enter and see her, illuminated by the moonlight coming through the window, covered with a sheet lying on my bed.
"I think you're in the wrong room, Duchess"
I tell her, taking a serious and firm tone.
"No is the right one"
She responds with a lascivious tone, moving the sheet and revealing her naked body to me.
"Get up"
"Yes, sir"
She does as I order, and positions herself in front of me, almost causing me a sense of disgust.
I hardly recognize the man I was, I would never have let an opportunity like this escape but now I just think that if Hea knew would shout at me for hours.
"Get out"
I whisper to her, now annoyed by her presence, continuing to look into her eyes, avoiding falling on those curves that would be the desire of every man.
"Do you have other tastes by chance?"
She tells me, aware of her beauty and probably never been rejected.
I almost laugh, and I take the sheet from the bed and throw it at her.
"If you would have known me a few months ago we won't be talking now. But you arrived late...Now out!"
I lose patience, and push her out almost by force, slamming the door.

I take a deep breath to regain my composure, even though I think I will have trouble sleeping.
I take off my elegant jacket and loosen my shirt, looking out the large window overlooking the gardens.
And I see her, sitting in the fountain, playing with her hand with water.
I can't hold back a smile, I just need to see her, even from afar to forget anything.
I'll never be able to stay away from her..
I put my jacket back on and headed for the garden.
