Wooyoung PV

"You are not here today!! What's up with you?!"
San tells me, beating me for the twentieth time in fencing.
"I'm sorry, I'm lost in thought.."
I answer, now breathless, falling into the grass heated by the midday sun.
"Mh love problems?"
He tells me, sitting next to me;
And I give him a surprised look, for being able to hit the target before I could answer.
"Don't look at me like that, I'm your best friend for a reason. So, is your lady making you suffer?"
"I found out that she's going to marry another man..And I did a huge bullshit and now she hates me"
I admit what worries me from this morning; I can't stop thinking at Hea's look of disgust at me.
"What have you done?"
San asks me, watching me waiting for my answer, which is slow in coming, as much as I'm ashamed to admit it even to my best friend.
"After seeing her with ... her future husband I freaked out and got drunk...and then I went to her room, but I don't remember anything."
"Wow! You really did a huge bullshit"
"Thanks, you are very helpful"
As if I'm not already aware of what I've done.
"I only mean that now it will be more difficult to convince the father that you are the more convenient man. Unless he is of a higher noble rank than you-"
"San I'm talking about Hea.."
I say, seeing that he has misunderstood.

He bursts out laughing, and for the first time I want to punch him.

I say in a low voice, getting up.

I say in a serious tone, thinking that Hea is not like anyone.
"Then give her an expensive gift and everything will be forgiven and forgotten"
I listen to his advice, which for the first time does not seem to be nonsense.

Finally the Countess has gone to sleep, which means that I too can rest now.
I spent the day glued to her for the fear of meeting Wooyoung;
I'm not ready to face him, and frankly I'm afraid of being alone with him.
Fortunately, it came out that he left early in the morning and still hasn't returned; even if to tell the truth I'm wondering where he could still be ... In one of those crappy inns? I don't even want to think about it.

I get ready to go to bed, not before locking the door, and I notice a blue box on my bed, with a note on it.

A few words that immediately bring me back to the night of the ball, when Wooyoung called me "brightest star".

Taken by curiosity, I open the box as if it were my birthday, and I remain speechless as soon as I see the content.
