The next few days pass slowly, the debate seemed to be the only thing that the school would talk about. Even people that weren't in the class would pitch their opinions in the halls or at lunch. I had another panic attack today. Harley had to help me again.

But nobody knows he is my brother.

I hate it. Superheros make mistakes, and some of them end up hurting a lot of people. The thing is, after each thing they spend countless days and even months of grief doing whatever they can to try to fix it as much as they can.

After Sokovia, the Avengers flew there undercover to help clean up and build new houses. Tony donated a million dollars to the country to rebuild everything. This still doesn't make up for there lives that were lost but it is the best they can do.

Also, If it weren't for us, Thanos would have wiped out half of the population and maybe even more. We could've all still been gone.

A shiver runs down my spine at the thought of not being here with my family and friends. I write a few more points down on my notebook and try to press the anxiety building in my chest. The debate is tomorrow. I don't want to hear about the negative things, and more than that, I don't want to have a panic attack.

I don't even know if I'll be able to say Thanos without having a panic attack.

I hear little footsteps running into my room and turn around with a smile on my face, "Hey, Morgan!" I hold out my arms and she runs into them with a squeal.

I pick her up and set her on my knee, "Mommy wanted me to tell you dinner is ready," she says kicking her legs back and forth. I shift my arms so they are under hers and throw her so she is over my shoulder.

Morgan squeals and I smile as I run ou into the kitchen. Once I arrive at the table Dad gives me a warm smile and Mom rolls her eyes.

"Be careful," Mom says shooting me a glare.

"Come on! I'm Spider-Man!" I say with a smirk. Mom sighs and I grab Morgan from my shoulder and set her down in her chair and take the open seat across from Harley. Mom and Dad sit at the head of the table and Morgan sits across from them.

I grab a heaping spoonful of everything on the table and dig in. "How were your days?" Dad says looking from Harley to me. I glance up at Harley and blush a little bit and take another bite of my mashed potatoes.

Dad reaches out and puts a hand on my shoulder, "Again?"

The happiness that radiated through me minutes before is quickly replaced with sadness, embarrassment, and fear.

"Y-Yeah," I whisper just loud enough for everyone to hear. I set my fork down with a loud clank and take a sip of water to try and calm me.

"The debate?" Mom asks. Harley told the two of them all about it, I just sat in between my mom and dad with my head resting on his shoulder.

"It's tomorrow but the whole school is talking about it," Harly answers for me. I nod in confirmation and Pepper lets out a long sigh.

"Everything will be ok," Dad says, letting go of my shoulder. After that Dad asks Morgan how her day was and she begins to fill us in on everything that happened, from coloring to playtime at kindergarten.

I wish my days were still that fun.

...

That night after we do the dishes and watch TV we all trudge into our rooms, tiredly. Instead of going to my bed I sit back down at my desk and read over my notes.

There is a knock at my door interrupting me, "Come in," I say, not moving my eyes.

"So, do you want to practice?" He asks I hear the corner of my bed sinking and I turn to him grabbing my notes and clearing my throat.
