Peter woke up to a soothing hand running through his hair. He felt a soft kiss on his forehead and let out a content sigh. He snuggled closer into his boyfriend's chest earning a soft chuckle from the older boy.

"Why you laughin'," Peter mumbled in a sleepy voice.

"No reason, darlin'."

The two stayed cuddled up like that for a long time. Sometimes Peter just needed a little quiet time in the morning to remind himself where he was and that everything is going to be ok. The kid puts a lot of pressure on himself, causing Harley to constantly worry, and every once in a while he had those days where he just wanted Harley to take care of him.

"Hey," the taller boy answered with a thick southern accent, "you got to get up now. You have the field trip and I'm your tour guide."

"I'm already here, do I really have to go to school? You don't have to give them a tour either. They are ungrateful," Peter proclaimed with his eyes closed.

"We gotta do it. We can have a movie night after, just you and me. Also, you have to keep your identity a secret. Not going to school and showing up here will be suspicious."

"Can I at least wear one of your sweatshirts?" Peter asked in a shy voice, a small blush creeping up the side of his face. He loved wearing Harley's clothes, they were warm and comfortable. They always make him feel safe.

"'course,"

Peter POV

I stand anxiously in the lobby of the Avengers Compound, grasping the ends of the baggy sweatshirt sleeves in my hand and attempting to disappear into it completely. My classmates talk eagerly about what will be on the tour and if we will get to see the Avengers. I could feel a pounding at the back of my head, already knowing what was coming on. Despite my best efforts, the only thing I can think about is wanting to be wrapped up in Harley's arms.

The elevator beeped announcing Harley's presence. He couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy go through him as the girls gawked over his body. However, he couldn't help but smile when Flash tried to puff out his chest and stand a little taller. Harley's eyes locked on mine and I gave him a small smile, he winked in return.

We've been dating for so long but little butterflies still flutter in my stomach whenever we are near. Behind Harley, a girl in her 20s walked out. I think her name is Violet, she is a junior intern at the compound studying to be a full-time tour guide.

"Hello! My name is Harley and I will be your tour guide today, I'll pass out badges while Violet introduces herself."

The girl starts talking but I don't pay attention. An uneasy feeling crawls up my spine and the hairs on my arm stand up. Something is wrong. My phone buzzes in my pocket, it's an alert from the police department. A hostage situation downtown. I lock eyes with Harley and he quickly hands out the badges to the next kids so he can get over to me.

"What is wrong Darlin'" he whispers, handing me the badge.

"Hostage situation downtown," I respond showing him the alert. His eyes fill with an unreadable expression before he sighs.

"Violet, hand out the rest of these passes, please. I'm going to take," he pretends to hesitate and look at my name tag like he doesn't know my name, "Peter to the bathrooms."

Flash sniggers and probably make some nasty comment to his friends but Harls and I are already making our way out of the room, in the complete opposite direction of the bathroom. Violet doesn't say anything.
