Castea's return(A star wars story) Book 2

Chapter 3

Obi wan, Qui gon and Ahsoka are being held in Castea's palace cells. Genevieve tried to find out they even got on to their planet.  Qui gon said if the 3 Jedi could talk to Padme that they would answer all of their questions. Genevieve has sent Mace windu to find Padme to tell her the news...

Padme stood in the grand throne room of the palace, looking down into the capitals town. Seeing all the peace between everyone she had come use to, during her time on Castea. She knew that such peace would be at risk of being broken if outsiders came to their planet. And Outsides had, and Padme felt like it was all of her fault. She breathed in and out to stop her self from crying. She rubbed her stomach lovingly, Padme felt a soft touch on her shoulder. It was Anakin who saw his wifes glass and knew what was going on in her head. He pulled her into a warm embrace, Padme rested her head on his chest and began to cry quietly. 

"This isn't your fault, it's not your fault at all." Anakin said soothingly while rubbing her back, trying to calm her down.

"But what if Castea is exposed because of me?" her sobs becoming a bit louder.

"Hey look at me." Anakin looked deep in to his wife's eyes. "No one blames you or anyone for this, every one on this planet knew it would happen one day." Padme nodded as the tears stopped running down her face as Anakin kissed her lightly on the forehead. 

"Umm, I hate to interrupt the moment, but I need you both to come with me." Both Anakin and Padme whipped their head to the door way to see none other than Mace windu standing there, they both nodded and followed Mace to the palace cells.  

"I'm guessing no luck then." Anakin said as he saw Genevieve standing at the end of the cell corridor. 

"Not one single word from them, they only want talk to you Padme." Padme looked down the corridor of cells. 

"Your highness if I may interrupt, I have managed to hack into their Jedi temple files and got the their files." Mace handed Genevieve the data pad. She studied it carefully and turned to Padme.

"Padme, you know two of them right, Qui gon jinn and Obi wan Kenobi."

"Yeah they were assigned to "protect" me. Didn't do a very good job since I mange to come and not be found for 3 years. Do we know who the girl is?

"Her name is Ahsoka Tano, she is the youngest Jedi to be knighted there after proving her innocents after their temple had been bombed. It also looks like they didn't get assigned to look for us or this planet."

"So they have gone rouge." Anakin said crossing his arms. "Which means their council don't know their here, and they will try to track them or not. " Anakin stared down the hallway of cells. He could tell Padme was conflicted on whether or not to talk to the 3 rouge Jedi. She to Looked down the hallway of cells.

"Padme are you all aright?" Genevieve asked 

"Not really. I just feel like this is all of my fault."

"Padme, no one on this planet blames you for this. We all knew this day would come, we just need to deal with it fast." A communicator started blinking on the wall. "My mother is calling me. I have to go can you 3 please deal with this. Because judging by my other calling me, things just got whole lot worse."

"Of course Princess." Mace said as Genevieve walked out of the cells.

"I'm going to go and talk to them." Padme blurted out.

"Are you sure." Anakin asked.

"It is the only way well get the answers we need from them." 

"Do you want me to stay outside so you  can talk to them alone?"

"I'd actually feel better if you can with me Ani. All of their thoughts are about what is going on in their senate and what is going to happen to them here. And the senate things sound really bad, like something is happening to the senate and they are worried about if they led him here." 

Mace and Anakin knew what Padme was talking about we she said him. Anakin nodded and turned to his old Master. " Can you watch the camera if anything goes wrong?" He asked. 

"Of course." Mace answers as Padme and Anakin head down to the only cell force field on.
