Castea's return(A star wars story) Book 2

Chapter 10

Darth Sidious and Darth Vader have broken the protective shield that keeps Castea hidden from the rest of the galaxy. With the shield down they are now able to attack the peaceful planet. Meanwhile every Castean that is able to fight is waiting for the battle to come and waiting to protect their home with their lives.......

Everyone on Castea looked up into the sky, as they all saw a blinding light that covered everything. Once the light died down they all saw little orbs of light falling form the sky down to the ground. Anakin reached out his hand to let one of the light orbs fall on it. He looked at it closely as it started to fade away. "They destroyed the shield." He said as he turned to face Mace and Genevieve who were standing beside him.

"We still have the shield's over the sea to protect the mermaids, and the shields over top of us." Genevieve said as she looked around her to see all of her loyal subjects. She could see all of them were afraid in some way, she didn't blame them. Everyone knew a battle was coming and that they all had to be ready, but that doesn't stop the fear in peoples minds. She turned back to face Mace and Anakin. "But they wouldn't hold for that long, we all know battle is inevitable and their is nothing that we can to stop it." 

"Then we fight." Mace said as he turned on his light saber as did all of the other Jedi standing with them. "We fight for our friends, our home-"

"Our family." Anakin finished what his master sentence. "I hope Padme is alright." 

"Padme is going to be fine Anakin, but no offence but your kids couldn't have chosen a worse time to come." Genevieve said as she stood in her fighting stance, as the star destroyers began to rain fire on the planet.  

Over at the Castean Jedi Temple

Yoda, Ahsoka, Qui gon and Obi wan stood at the window, watching helpless as the star destroyers fired on the Castea's under the shield protection. But the star destroyers were more powerful than anything they had ever seen. The work of the sith, no doubt.

"With the fire power those destroyers are carrying, the shield won't hold for much longer. We have to do something masters." Ahsoka look at the battle field as she said this to the three Jedi masters in the room with her. Yoda looked at her and nodded in agreement. 

"Agree with young Tano I do. Do something we must." Yoda directed this Qui gon and Obi wan who both stood looking at each other puzzled. 

"Master we agree with you and Ahsoka, we have to help them, since it is kind of out fault the sith are here, but what are we supposed to do? We'er lock in this room, we have no way to get out that isn't jumping out the window and all falling to our death and on top of that we don't have our lightsabers." Obi wan looked at Ahsoka who looked more determined than ever to do something.

"Actually Obi wan did we ever hear Master Windu lock the door?" Qui gon questioned. Everyone in the room fell silence. They all turned to the door as if something truly horrible was waiting on the other side of it. Slowly Ahsoka walked across the room and over to the door, put her hand on the door and it opened. All of them felt shocked and stupid at the same time. 

"It was never locked?" Ahsoka turned to face the 3 masters, but then she noticed something in distance. A loud thunderous sound ripped through the air. Everyone turned their attention to the battle going on. The shield had fallen, and clone troopers started to drop from the star destroyers and other transports and landed on the ground. The fighting had begun. "We have to get out there now! Where do they keep the lightsabers in this place?" Ahsoka question as they all rushed out of the room as fast as they could to get to the battle and help the Castean's defeat the Sith.

A/N The battle for Castea has begun, who will win? Will Castea survive? Or will it be plunged into darkness?  Let me know what you think will happen
