Chapter 2: Plan

*Back In Linda's Office*
" Lucifer I'm happy that you told me the truth of your falling but this doesn't answer my question. Where are you?". She held her phone tightly as Lucifer huffed a little on his side of the phone. " I'm outside your door". Linda opens the door and told him to come in. He sat down in the couch and took a deep breath, " Linda I told you the story of my falling because I want you to know the truth". Linda looked into his eye, " Lucifer there is something you are not telling me". He gave her a guilty look. " I'm going to write letter to Candy. She's coming to the LAPD to pick it up. I have my 3rd LUX in Sin City and I want it to be taken care of. I'm going away for a while". Linda looked surprised, " I didn't know you had a 3rd LUX. Why?". He sipped the water from his cup, " I'm leaving because last week the Detective and I were working on a stakeout in a beer warehouse. Obviously the bad guy ran and I went after him. The Detective saw my reflection from a silver beer tank. She saw my devil face. I turned and she saw my devil eyes. She backed away from me saying that (it was all true). I could see her fear and I left without a second look. She'll come to you eventually. I'll be gone by then. I just want to give her some time to breathe". She clears her throat, " Where will you go?". He gets up, " I'm going to London. Linda please take care of Azrael while I get everything ready back in London. I'll be back in a few days". Dr. Linda didn't have time to say anything before Lucifer left.

He went back to LUX and told his sister to pack all of her things. She listened to her favorite big brother and went to pack her things. Meanwhile Lucifer was writing 2 different letters.

*First letter Candy*

Dear Candy,

I know that I called you early on this week to tell you to come to the station down at the LAPD. I didn't give you an explanation then but this letter will tell you everything.

I'm going back to London in a few hours to prepare the place for my little sister Azrael. Of course my brother and Maze will be coming along as well.

The reason for me leaving is because I want to give Chloe some space to breathe after what happened at the beer warehouse. She saw my Devil face and eyes. So I'm planning to give her space. I don't really know when I'll be back. I might be back in a few months or maybe years. I don't bloody know. But when I return I'll send you a text.

I wanted to leave you in charge of LUX in sin city while I'm away. I know you'll take good care of it.

*Second letter Dan*
Dear Dan,

I know that in the beginning we didn't get along so well but know we do. I just wanted to ask you a favor. Please watch over LUX while I'm gone. I have given you all the paperwork to LUX for it's police protection. Also I will need you to run LUX for a few nights until Ella comes back from London.

Also please take care of Chloe, the child and Ella. While I'm away they will need you more than ever. Also I left my night club LUX in the hands of Ms. Lopez. Please tell her to keep LUX running and that she can stay in my Penthouse. I somewhat heard that she was kicked out of her apartment and I offer her my home. She is welcome to stay as long as she likes.

I will be leaving my little sister Azrael behind for a few days while I prepare the place for her arrival. I would like Ms. Lopez to care for her until I pick her up in a few days. She's with Dr. Linda at the moment.

Finally please tell Trixie that I will miss her but that it's for the best. At least for now. That I will come back soon. Please take her to my room and on the bed she will find a gift. With that gift I will always be with her. Even if she can't see me. Tell her to talk to it when she's sad. I will always be listening. The other envelope is for Candy. She will be coming into the station sometime this week to pick it up.

Lucifer put the letter in envelopes and sealed it with wax. The wax seal had a pentagram on it. Just as he sealed each letter, Azrael came downstairs with a sad look on her face. He turned to look at her, " What's wrong Azrael?". Azrael was crying and she walked to her brother. Her eyes wet with tears. She ran into her brother's arms ," Your going to leave me. Aren't you?". Lucifer looked at her soft, " Yes Azrael. But only for a little while...". At the mention of him leaving her she pushed him away and went running up the stairs. Lucifer yelled out, " Azrael! Azrael wait! Let me explain!" He ran after her. She ran into her room and locked the door. As Lucifer entered his Penthouse and Maze was busy making herself a drink. " I wouldn't go in there if I were you Lucifer. The kid's fierce". He just gave Maze a quick look and then started to pick the lock. A little something that he learned from Ms. Lopez. It took him some time but he finally opened the door. He found his sister wrapped into a ball of her own wings. " May I come in Azrael?". Azrael did not answer. She remained still and all that could be heard was her sobbing sound. Sounds of pain. He sat down at the edge of the bed and picked her up in his arms. He sat on the bed and placed her on his lap. He trying to open her wings but it was no use. " Come now Azrael". She didn't answer. He touched her wings gently as he started to sing, " Barum Heloi Enushi Hide Shama. Barum Eloe Nooledo Gado. Barum Heloi Enushi Hide Shama. Burum Eloe Nooledo Gado. Mii Ale Letanai Veie Tami. Amara Adonai Lee Adahamad Him. Lai Lai Lai Lai Lai Lai Azrael. Lai Lai Lai Lai Lai Lai Azrael". As her brother kept sings. She started to open her wings to him. She appreciated her brother singing to her in Hebrew. She put her wings away and joined her brother. This went on for a while until Lucifer stopped singing. He wiped her tears away, " Now Azrael. Yes I'm leaving you but only for a little while until I get the place ready for you back in London". She looked at her empty room, " I know the reason we are leaving but why London?". He told her with a soft voice that London was the place where he first built LUX and that it's a beautiful place to stay until the heat dies down. " Now Azrael I need you to leave your things here because you'll be coming back. I'm going to leave you at Dr. Linda's office for a bit and Ella will be taking care of you up in a few hours. Do you understand?". She nods and they go to the car. She is quite all the way to Linda's office but they are finally at her door at 5am. Linda opened the door and greeted them. She had a table full of treats and fresh fruits for Azrael. Lucifer sat Azrael on the couch, " Azrael zal goed zijn. Ik kom over een paar uur terug om je te zien voordat ik ga". Azrael spoke in the same language that his brother had chosen, " Ik ben altijd goed. Ik ben het waar ik me zorgen over maak". Dr. Linda knew that Lucifer spoke every but she had never heard him speak dutch before. He Thanked Linda once again and left to the LAPD.

It was 5:30 am when he arrived at the station. The only people who were at the station was Ella, Dan, and lieutenant Rick. He went to see his boss first. Ella joined him as he knocked on the glass door, " Knock. Knock. May we come in Rick?". The lieutenant smiled as she opened the door, " I brought you a venti Toasted White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino with extra whip just like you like it". Rick was pleased with his gift and she eagerly accepted. " Thank you Lucifer. Always a gentleman. What can I do for you two today?". He took a sip of his own drink. A simple vanilla bean Frap. " Well Ms. Lopez and I are going to London. I'm going for a personal reason and Ella is coming for personal support. I might be gone for months and Lopez as well". Rick looked at both of them, " Don't worry. You two will still have your jobs when you come back. I will have to tell Decker about you Mr. Morningstar and I will call in for someone to take Ms. Lopez's place until she comes back". They all looked pleased and left. Dan was sitting at his desk when Lucifer approached him. " Hay Lucifer. What's wrong?". He gave Dan the envelopes, " Hello Daniel. Nothing's wrong but this will explain everything. I'm going to London and please call me if you need anything. Also don't tell the Detective where I am".Before he could respond Lucifer had left and went to his workplace. He looked at the Detective's desk for a long time. After a few minutes he took out the a red rose from his suit coat and placed it on the desk. " Dad please let everything be ok", he said to himself as he left the station. He entered the parking station and went into his carvet. He drove by the corner as he headed towards the exit. The detective had barely gotten out of her car when she saw Lucifer drive off. She stood in the middle of the parking lot as she looked at the distant licence plate of her partner. A tear went down her cheeks as she remembered everything Lucifer had told her. He had always told her the truth and she never believed him.
