Chapter 7: Catch The Devil

The morning was chilly. It was mid-September after all. A few days passed since they arrived at the hotel. The nabors from 2A were Leo and Kat. No kids and no one ever came over. Very strong indeed.

Chloe woke up to the sound of her handsome devil snoring. "I love you Lucifer. Horns and all", she whispered into his ear. She kissed his cheak before getting up but was pulled back in by Lucifer. " Morning Chloe. Now I that any way to great your Husband?", he teased. " No. My apologies by handsome devil", she said as she kissed him passionately. They separated for a moment and took a selfie for the Insta. Chloe wore Lucifer's black silk robe to cover herself for the photo but Lucifer wanted to show off how ripp he was. Two pictures were takes that morning. The first picture, in which Lucifer is sitting on the bed and Chloe is behind him, wrapping her arms around him and kissing him on the lips. The second picture, in which Chloe is on Lucifer's back on the bed. Both pictures were uploaded and went viral in Lucifer's account. With the #Married❤Life on both photos.

Ella saw the photos moments later, " Aww! They are really selling this marriage thing. I have to show Rick!", left her lab and went straight to meet Rick. Rick was pleased with the pictures and arranged a meeting for Ella. Ella accepted the mission of delivering information to Lucifer and Chloe who she started to call, "Deckerstar". That evening, she left with a binder full of information. This case was very high profile that it had to be discussed in person.

Chloe and Lucifer left their undercover apartment in Beverly Hills. To meet Ella back at LUX, a place in which they wouldn't be bothered. Ella greated them and took the items out of the binder. " Ok... Um... Here are the pictures of the kids that went missing in the last 2 weeks. They are a mix of male and female. All around the ages of 7-10 years old and all 4 kids lived in the hotel that you are staying at. Did you guys learn anything?", Ella asked. Hoping that they found something useful. " Yes, Ms. Lopez. We did find something useful. According to the nabors, the disappearances all started when the couple from 2A moved in. They are both teachers at Royal Elementary", Chloe cut him off, " Not to mention that I heard one of them talking about a closed down restaurant". Ella noted everything in a notebook and told them that they would need a warrant from the Judge to go into the school and go undercover because technically, it was private property.

Lucifer excused himself from the meeting, to see Linda who was downstairs for their therapy appointment. Ella saw the worry in Chloe's eyes when he left, " So... how's being married?", Ella asked. Chloe turned her attention to her and gave out a delighted smile. " It's amazing. The first night, I was frightened by the storm and he came to comfort me. He left after I fell asleep but I followed him and slept with him in his room. The very next morning he made us breakfast in bed and we went swimming in the pool. We watched Aladdin and then we had mind blowing sex...", Chloe blushed at the memory. Ella smiled as she teased her, " I bet it was but I know that something else is bothering you Chloe. What is it?". Chloe could no longer hide her jealousy, " The woman from 2A keeps on looking at Lucifer as if she's hungry, ever since she met him. I know it's stupid but he's mine and I don't want to let him go...". Ella hugged Chloe, " It's totally normal. You have missed him so much and you two have bonded so well since his return. It's normal that you are afraid of losing him again........ um. If it makes you feel better. I know why he avoided you". That last sentence caught the Detective's attention, " It's because you saw his face. Isn't it? ( Chloe shakes her head) How do I know this? It's because he told me so himself in London and he showed me everything. Yeah of course it was a lot to process but it's not like he's been lying about it.... When I remembered him solving crime with us and making the most horrible of situations fun. I remembered that he was the same old Lucifer. The night he showed me, I saw him rocking that little baby to sleep. I realized that, along with all the bad comes a lot of good. If the devil himself is willing to raise a child who has lost its mother. Then, how bad can he really be?".

Before Ella left, she gave them both secret ear buds to keep in contact with them while being undercover. She also, took out two injection needles. She cleaned Chloe's arm with a wipe and injected her, " It's a microchip tracking device that I constructed in the lab. The Chief has ordered that we all get one.( she turned to Lucifer) Your turn Lucifer", she extended her hand to him. Lucifer looked unsure and walked away, " Nope! There is no way in hell that I'm letting you inject me with that". Ella followed him with injection needle in hand, " Come on. It won't hurt much". But Lucifer was not hearing it and kept running out of her reach. Ella left him alone for a while to let him think that he won but the game was far from over.

15 minutes later Dan and two female officers arrived at the Penthouse after receiving a text message from Ella, saying that they needed help with Lucifer. The two Officers were Cacuza ( Lucifer's favorite officer) and Ramos a newbie. Dan walked over to Lucifer, only stopped about 7 feet away from him. " Listen Lucifer. We can do this Ella's way or my way", he said seriously. Lucifer looked at him with a smug look, " How about nether. Detective Douche". Dan took a step closer to him, " Let's get him". Dan tackled Lucifer and held him down with the help of Officer Cacuza. While Officer Ramos held him down with her knee as she handcuffed him. She then, removed her tie from her uniform and blindfolded Lucifer. She believed that he would be more comfortable if can't see the injection needle. " Bloody Hell! Get Of Me!", Lucifer yelled on top of his lungs. Ella then slid on the floor next to Lucifer and rolled his sleeve all the way up. She cleaned his arm as she was ready to inject him. He squirmed like a trapped cat but it had to be done. His eyes were red with hell fire. Ella tightened her grip on him and so did the others, regardless of their shock. "Deep breath Lucifer", the thick needle entered his skin and at that moment his white wings unfolded from his back. Dan and the two Officers were tossed to the ground. Ella luckey escaped the attack of the wings. Within seconds it was over and Ella was know rubbing the place in which the needle was inserted. She scanned him and it was done.

Chloe helped Cacuza and Ramos up. Dan got up by himself. Regardless of the sudden revelation of divinity they took it well. The lady's of course were enchanted by his wings. The two officers woud not stop touching them. They didn't mind his hellfire eyes. Lucifer even offered them the chance to groom them and so, they did. They brushed his wings gently with a silver brush. Dan on the other hand was still a bit freaked out about Lucifer being the devil. Lucifer on the other hand believe that it was an improvement because Dan was being less of a Douche.
