Chapter 13: Baby Brother

Chloe fell to her knees at the door way, crying her heart out. Where was he to morn his death? Everyone cried for Lucifer, even Dan. Dan marched up to the doctor and demanded to see the body. The doctor was also shocked to see that the man he declared dead not so long was gone. They searched the hospital that there was no sign of Lucifer's body. It is as if he disappeared into thin air. The only reasonable reason that everyone could think of was that Lucifer was not really dead.

Everyone went back to the Penthouse to see if Lucifer was there but to their surprise he was not there. Just as they arrived, someone else did too. It was Azrael and Gabriel, both with their celestial clothing. Know that everyone thought about it. They didn't see Azreal when they found out that Lucifer was dead. If anyone knew were Lucifer was, it was her. Before anyone could question Azreal, Gabriel stepped forward, " Hello. Theses are times of sadness yes but rejoice. For I bring a message from the most high. The Lord has taken the lightbringer back. Azrael had nothing to do with this. Father will come down to speak with you. At 4am, meet him at a place. A place that is bittersweet for Samael. A place of sorrow, sweetness and pain". And with that Gabriel was gone. Leaving an uneasy feeling in the room. God wanted to talk to them. Amenadiel was happy that his little brother was forgiven but upset because Heaven was the last place Luci wanted to be. Maze for one wanted to kick his ass for taken Lucifer and so did Chloe and Ella. Luz went with Gabriel and Azreal back to the silver city. She bowed before her father and told him how upset everyone was. God listen to his child but said, "A parent only wants what's best for their child, Luz. I will decide what is best for him". Luz didn't understand her father's words but she knew. That is not what Lucifer would have wanted.

Michael entered the Silver City with his brother in his arms. His other siblings were shocked to see their fallen brother back. They all followed closely to Michael as the doors to their father's throne room opened. He walked up the steps and bowed to his father before placing his brother on a white sofa, which was placed next to the throne. Michael bowed once again to his father and stepped away from his brother. God looked at his children, " Thank you Michael. Samael, your brother is forgiven. No one is to treat him badly. Nor you will try when my back is turned. Forgive him for his faults as I have forgiven yours". His children agreed to treat their brother well and to not go back on their word. They were dismissed from the room as God turned to his sleeping son and placed his's sons head on his lap, " My child, I'm sorry you believed that I abandoned you. I never have. I watched you grow from a far and look what happened. Know that you are with me again. I will not let any harm come to you. I promise my son". He kissed his son's head softly and God turned his son back into a child, about the age of 8.

God carried his son to his old room and allowed him to rest. An hour later Lucifer woke up in an unfamiliar place. Lucifer did not remember passed events, he only remembered being a kid. He sat at his piano as he tried to remember why he was asleep if it wasn't bed time. He heard someone sneeze, he opened the door to his room to find a man outside. Lucifer ran, only to he carried off his feet. " Were are you going in such a hurry Samy?", the man asked. Lucifer looked at the man and tilted his head, " Michael?". Michael nodded and Lucifer started wiggling and fight his way out because his brother had never been very nice to him before but Michael did something he had never done before. He apologized and promised that he was never going to be mean again. " Come Samael. I have orders to take you to father". They walked hand in hand as they walked down the halls.

God sat at his throne and waited for the horses to be ready. Moments later little Lucifer ran into the throne room, God looked up with a smile. " Father!", Lucifer hugged his father and God filled with joy. He told his son that he needed to go down to earth but that Michael was going to take him somewhere. Lucifer bowed to his father who bowed back. That was unusual, he never did that to him. God smiled and walked with his son, hand in hand, " I bowed to you my son because you were born to be king". Lucifer was born to bring light but his only question remained. When will he be king?
