Chapter 19: Little Detective

Lucifer was with Ella in the lab when he hears a voice. He was invisible of course and had no worry of anyone but Ella seeing him. The door opened and Trixie came in carrying a bag of Lucifer's favorite chips. Both Ella and Lucifer looked up to find a shocked Trixie. She dropped her chips and ran to her mom. The Detective was busy working on a case. This case could be going a lot smoother if Lucifer was here. He could use his mojo on them and it would be faster. Why did criminals have to be so stubborn?

Trixie dragged her mom to the lab. Telling her that she "Saw Lucifer" but Chloe saw only Ella was in the lab. She looked at her daughter, " Baby. I know you miss Lucifer but he's not here. Know just ask Ella for help on  your science project. I have lots of work to do". She left the lab because left Trixie with Ella who just looked taken away. It was ture, Lucifer was not in the lab. He was at Chloe's desk looking at the paper. Ella and Lucifer both knew right away that Trixie could see him, even while invisible. They had to stop the leak before it made puddle.

That same night Ella asked Chloe if she could take Trixie out for a Theater show. Chloe agrees and let's her daughter go. Two days after, Ella picks her up around 6pm to go to the theater to see Frozen on Broadway. The show was on it's world tour and it would be a shame not to go. They made good time and walked along the way about her science project.

They got to the theater got snacks, enough to last the entire show. They were seated in the VIP section and were given special badges to go behind the scenes and to meet the actors after the show. No one else seemed to have this blessing and it was exciting! Ella got Trixie attention, " Trixie. I know how you feel about what happened with your mom at the lab. What you saw is true. Lucifer was there but it's just others can't see him.( Trixie Listened) He's my guardian angel and he must stay invisible to be able to do his job...". Trixie just smiled and told her that she already knew. Ella looked at her in concern, " I knew that he's an angel because the devil is a fallen angel. Also, I saw Maze's demon face and I believe that mommy saw Lucifer's devil face. That is why he left for 2 years because he thought that mommy was afraid. I knew he was the devil before everyone else. His eyes changed to a fiery red and hellfire". Lucifer smiled as he listened to the child. She indeed was the first person to accept him as he was. No judgment and no fear but what surprised him more was the fact that she had figured everything out herself. She was indeed her Mother's daughter. " You warm my heart. Please go on child" he said as he sat beside her. Trixie hugged him and for the first time in forever, he hugged her back. She was indeed a little detective.

The lights turned off and the stage lit up. The people cheered as the music started and the actors preformed. Their favorite number was Love is an Open Door. The dance was incredible and connection between the two characters Anna and Hans could really be felt. Their dance was graceful, fun and they really looked like they were having fun. Lucifer's favorite character was Prince Hans due to the fact that he wasn't what others believed he was. But in reality this is true, not everyone is who they claim to be.

During the show there were different emotions between Ella and Trixie. Joy at the opening, sadness when the king and queen died, smiles and laughter through the majority, and anger with a hint of worry when Prince Hans showed his true colors. It was a ball of emotions by the time that it had ended. Lucifer look them back stage to meet the actors. Trixie of course went straight for Anna and Elsa with a larger than life hug for both. She also went with Kristoff who was more than happy to dance with her. The puppeteers for Olaf and Sven showed her how the puppets worked and even allowed her to try them out. Eventually, Trixie went to the actor who played Hans. He gave them a warm smile and they sang Love Is An Open Door together. The back stage visit was fun and they were allowed to take two pictures with the main characters.

Trixie had promised to keep Lucifer a secret and only keep it between her and Ella. That night Trixie returned home, a happy kid. She showed her mom the picture of her and Ella with the actors. She loved Frozen and the chance to live the experience that she just had was best thing that Lucifer and Ella had given her.
