It took a few hours longer than Leah expected it too, but as she stared at the glistening steel of the metal prosthetic, a sparkle in her eye, tears of pride and happiness cling to her eyelids, not only did the prosthetic look better than the previous one but it had a more tough militaristic look to it "Hey that looks pretty good." And with those words striking a hole in her heart, her hopes of bragging about it were ruined and her pride was wiped off of the face of Jistilen "Pretty... good..." she whispers subconsciously as Hugo stands there staring in concern , worried he might've just broken the poor mechanic "I'm going to run on a wild assumption it's finished." Bonita states as she lifts the prosthetic, moving it around and checking around for any forms of kinks or flaws "Finished and finished perfectly. So stop checking my work." Leah responds after regaining her confidence "Wake him up Karma." Bonita says from the kitchen, the blonde Male nudging the swordsman who's snoring happily on the ground "Sage... your arm is finished." Karma murmurs, Sage's eyes snapping open and within a few seconds the raven haired Male was in the kitchen laying on the table awaiting the reconnection of his nerves to the prosthetic "I'm ready." He beams, Leah approaching him with a relieved smile on her face at his excitement for her work, Despite it taking hours.
The veins in Sage's flesh hand were practically popping out of his skin whilst he clung to the sheet placed on the table, Leah was struggling to connect the last nerve due to the weird placement of it, before Sage could regain his bearings the nerve was connected and the swordsman was now on the floor pretending to cry "It hurts..." he whines, Bonita 'patting' his back with her foot as she rolls her eyes "You literally got yourself stabbed like six times to atone for your sins and your telling me having nerves reconnected to a metal arm hurts more?" She asks rhetorically "Oh yeah speaking about that, how are you still alive after being stabbed so many times?" Hugo asks finally, the entire squad thinking the same thing despite not actually coming out with the question in fear Sage night go berserk "Dude I thought I told you this, Bealayion heal differently to normal people would. How many times do I gotta say this, we aren't like you." Sage responds seriously as he gestures to himself and Bonita who's nodding.
It took the squad a little longer than normal to react to what the swordsman did next as he took one of Leah's screwdrivers and stabs Bonita in the shoulder, when they finally did react, the two dragons stood there with deadpan expressions, Bonita pulling the screwdriver out of her shoulder, a small smoke rising off of the wound as it heals over "Huge and serious injuries such as me getting slashed in the shoulder and losing my entire right arm take longer and are actually more fatal then being stabbed say ten times in the stomach. We can survive being stabbed up to twenty times if we have the physical and mental strength and stability." Sage explains whilst the squad stood staring trying to gather up the information they just received, even Karma stood completely blown away by the two Bealayion's ability to withstand that much damage.
It was only natural Sage was trying out his new prosthetic, despite not actually having any new attributes, he stood out in the backyard of the house, only clad in jogger shorts, a small but deadly knife held tightly in his hand. A noxious maroon liquid dripping off of the blade and on to the ground, the grass dying immediately after it hits it "Using Mekhai in a place as small as this. A bit dangerous don't you think?" Ignoring Bonita's pushing words he pivots on his left foot, sending the back of his right heel into where he's picturing the 'enemy' to be stood "What's dangerous is you distracting me while I'm practicing." He growls eventually after seeing the unimpressed look on her face "Where do you keep that knife when your not using it?" She asks as she gestures to the long sharp weapon in sage's hand, the edge of the blade glistening under the setting sun of Jistilen, whilst the ridged part at the base of the blade gives it an even more dangerous vibe to it "It has a place. Though it may be fatal for me to keep it on me at all times it comes in use when I'm up against a difficult target." He explains as he places the knife on a glass table on top of a special material known as Hayne "And despite many statements saying you've changed, your still the same psychotic dragon you've always been. After all, you do have the word 'demon' in your name." She smiles before turning and walking away "Hurry up and finish, Karma needs to explain this whole green fire thing." She says as she disappears into the house, Sage stands there, looking down at his hands in concern as to what she just said.
With the squad, Bonita and Sage and Leah for some reason all sat down in the living area of the house, Karma stands up front, his hands tucked into his jacket pockets "Okay, so Bon, Sage you both know one of my powers, my ability to see power statistics, now the squad and Leah know." He begins as he gestures to them all Sage scowl as He leans forward "Say for instance, Amanda your statistics are: speed: 453.8, strength: 738.2, strategy: 321.4, stamina: 878.0." He continues, Amanda groaning and leaning back, her hands now covering her face "I have such low strategy statistics" she cries, Balthazar placing his hand on her shoulder in comfort but also to let Karma continue "Well, in this case you all have pretty high statistics depending on your specialties. And also you have pretty high ones compared to normal civilians and normal soldiers. But when we look at Bonita and Sage it's a completely different story." He explains as he gestures to the two Bealayion's sat beside each other, the squad lean forward looking to them both.
Honestly sage didn't want to know his statistics out loud, plus he didn't want the squad to treat him differently, he knew they were high he just didn't know how high they actually were, as he sat forward he shook his head "Don't say them out loud just tell me what's happening." He says sternly, the squad scowling slightly, Bonita nods "This happens with both of you. Considering your statistics are incredibly high already this is... not normal. I would say inhuman but you both aren't humans. You, a demon, and you... a goddess." He says as he points to them both, the mixture of darkness and light practically visible to everyone except themselves "With your blue flames; your statistics are insane. And Bon, with your divine magic, when the light isn't very bright, your statistics are the same as Sage's, insane. However, the moment your flames change to green and the moment your lightness gets brighter, those insane statistics shoot up and become even more insane." He explains, the two Bealayion's Looking to each other with furrowed brows "Imagine this: using your blue flames and your dim light, your only using ten percent of your power. When those flames change colour or when your light gets brighter, you begin using something like twenty percent of your power." He continues, Sage and Bonita standing they hold their hands out "That's enough." They both say in unison.
As Sage and Bonita stood there, Karma and the squad... and Leah stare at them both "You've said too much." Bonita says finally, Sage's blue eyes serious "We don't want to know our stats because we don't want anyone to see any less of us. Your all incredible how you are, we don't want our stats shattering that, especially since we aren't even human. It's not a fair comparison." Sage explains, looking to Levi who's staring at him "Don't feel or see any different as what you saw when your first met me." He continues, spinning on the ball of his foot to face Karma he inhales and exhales before holding his hand out "I was being petty and honestly acting like a child with you Karma. Thank you for taking me down those thousands of years ago. And thank you for explaining everything." He says seriously, the blonde staring at his hand before nodding and smiling slightly he shakes sage's hand happily "Anytime pal... thanks for this." He says gently, Bon placing her hand on Karma's shoulder "Since your here you can accompany me to Idrin." She cheers, the blonde's smile fading "No... no..." he whispers as Bonita pulls him away, waving to them "Thanks for the fun week! I'm sure we'll see each other soon!" She cheers as she drags karma, we all wave.
